What have figures from Iraq got to do with people fleeing Zimbabwe? You might as well have told us the price of cod in Iceland, it would have been just as relevant.

Not really they probably felt they owed him favors from the fight agaist apartheid days and he has a lot of overthrowing the white rulers points. As a result he is not someone the various other leaders in that area will criticize lightly.

As I read that, AUP was commenting that half the population of Iraq had fled. What you are saying is that he was saying "half the population of Zimbabwe has fled." Is that it?

Last time I looked the Zimbabwe army was nothing to write home about.

By african standards it is fairly good. We wouldn't be looking at sierra leone style walkover.
 
Zimbabwe would be better withouth Robert Mugabe. Robert Mugabe is a racist homophobe and a megalomaniac. Robert Mugabe is a dictator with a huge ego.
