Keyes joins lawsuit asking for proof that Obama is eligible for office

A Sacramento Supreme Court petition filed on behalf of Alan Keyes and others has asked the Secretary of State to withhold the state's 55 electoral votes from the December Electoral College tally until President-Elect Barack Obama proves he is eligible to take office.

The court document joins a host of litigation questioning Obama's eligibility in as many as 15 states, with confirmed cases in Ohio, Connecticut, Washington, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Hawaii, and unconfirmed reports from Utah, Wyoming, Florida, New York, North Carolina, Texas, California and Virginia, according to WorldNetDaily.

All the cases reported to have failed were dismissed due to the plaintiff's lack of standing, without the court actually investigating the complaint.

However, as Keyes was on the November ballot as the American Independent Party presidential candidate, his is the first case in which the plaintiff is a candidate who lost the presidency, perhaps illegitimately, to Obama. This may mean that Keyes' case will be the first in which the plaintiff is deemed to have sufficient standing, leading the court to investigate the complaint instead of dismissing it.

While Obama has posted a scanned image of his birth certificate several months ago, critics claim that the official seal is not visible.

This maroon was laughed out of Illinois back in the US senate elections, and now he continues to make a fool out of himself. He's basically an example of how crippled the Republican party is in Illinois. Their first choice for senate was Mike Ditka, but when he backed out, they essentially got the first black man they could find that would be willing to call himself a Republican. Needless to say, it did not turn out well.

According to Berg, Obama may not have been born in Hawaii, but Kenya. Apparently his Kenyan Grandmother claims to have seen him born in Kenya. But, even if a 'natural born citizen', Obama was apparently adopted when his mother re-married an Indonesian, who took the family to Indonesia. Said country requires them to become Indonesian citizens. Obama's US citizenship would have been renounced at that time. Later, Obama applied to American universities, and may have listed his citizenship as Indonesian, and perhaps his religion as Islam.

So a valid record of birth is needed, as well as his universtiy applications.

So I can see some valid questions as to his citizen ship. One of which is that, if having been born here, renounced citizenship, then at some point becoming a naturalized citizen as an immigrant, does that meet the requirements of being " natural born citizen"?. If he ever did re-naturalize his citizenship at all? Or, if not, then he is not even a citizen of the USA at all, but a citizen of Indonesia.

Then as far as who is supporting Berg, Berg is a Hillary supporter who started this case clear back in August. Seems he wanted to clear the way for Hillary. So, if he succeeds now, who gets Obama's electoral votes? Hillary, most likely, not McCain. So McCain has nothing to gain by supporting Berg, since the repubs would rather Obama than Hillary. So, If Berg prevails, we might get Hillary, who got NOT ONE vote in the popular election.

Barack Obama moved back to the USA when he was 10 years old. Under our legal system, a 10 year old boy is not allowed to sign a contract, much less renounce his citizenship.

If you are born in American Territory, or with an American Citizen as a parent, you are a "Natural" born US Citizen. End of discussion.
