Truther Candidates Completely Rejected By US Voters

Why not? I'm not the one to claim I know what happened on 9/11 and that no one needs to be held accountable for not doing their job to protect the US.

Really? According to this letter supposedly written by Barack Obama, he doesn't think 9/11 was an inside job:
I do not believe the U.S. government was complicit in the attacks

That seems like a pretty definitive statement.

And here you are trumpeting both the validity of this letter and asking all of us if we agree with it, which would lead one to the conclusion that you don't believe 9/11 was an inside job, despite the multitude of posts you have made to the contrary.

So do you agree with Obama when he says the U.S government was not complicit in the 9/11 attacks? If not, then how can you grant credibility to anything else he says when it's all based on that premise?

LOL

Yeah I was just wondering the same thing about you.

Try reading the thread.

Then try comprehending it.

Good luck.
Your latest symptom appears to consist of the following delusions: (a) that I have not read the thread (b) that I have not understood it (c) that I would find this difficult.

Would you like to tell us more about the bizarre mental processes that led you to believe something so manifestly stupid? Surely you must have some sort of rationalization, however psychotic, for adding this strange detail to your sad little fantasy world, and I am curious to know what it is.

I agree he can believe whatever he wants. He's not really saying what he bases that on though. I don't know that the U.S government in some capacity had something to do with 9/11 or not. That's not the question.

Obama in the letter (fake or not) claims he believes that some people "should be held accountable for the unacceptable mistakes it made in the run-up to that terrible day."

further more...

"The series of clear warnings about the potential use of hijacked planes as weapons is just one example of why the "surprise" of 9/11 should have been anticipated. "

Now as far as I know that alone is not what I hear from debunkers here on a general basis. But some here claim to agree with his sentiment.

So then who?

Who "should be held accountable for the unacceptable mistakes it made in the run-up to that terrible day."?

It's really not a hard question.

Why all the hysterics?

Wow. These posts by HI make me really wonder about the mind of the ideologue. Fascinating.

Oh for Christ's sake, that is EXACTLY the question. Are you that blind? The man doesn't think the government was complicit in 911. Who cares what he is basing that on? He's not an idiot. Obviously he, like practically the WHOLE REST OF THE WORLD EXCEPT FOR A FEW SAD IDEOLOGUES LIKE YOU, can see his hand in front of his face.

The rest is irrelevant. Regardless of what could have been done better of different in the investigation of 911, IT WAS NOT AN INSIDE JOB.

BS. You are the one pushing a shady story. If you disagree, then CONVINCE SOMEBODY.

What's the BS? You are the one to claim to know what happened on 9/11.

SO YOU CONVINCE ENOUGH PEOPLE SO THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO COME HERE ANYMORE.

Or isn't that the point? Are you having too much fun with 9/11?

Who "should be held accountable for the unacceptable mistakes it made in the run-up to that terrible day."?

While I do not believe the U.S. government was complicit in the attacks, I do think it should be held accountable for the unacceptable mistakes it made in the run-up to that terrible day.

--- President-elect Barack Obama

Note that "it" refers to "the US government", as referred to in the previous clause.

Do you understand now?

It's really not a hard question.
But you appear to find the answer incomprehensible.

Why all the hysterics?
I'm guessing 'cos it's way past your bedtime, that would explain much.

What? I don't need to convince anybody. There's always going to be a tiny bunch of paranoids that believe something no matter what. hell, how many people in the world think the Earth is really flat. 100? 1000? Do YOU think the Earth is flat? It's not my job to convince them of anything. It is their job to convince me. Well, maybe not me, but the scientific community in general.

All I'm saying that if you disagree with the 'official story' and you feel you and your 'movement' has the evidence that you allude to, then why can't you convince somebody who can actually do something about it?

I am equating your lack of success of bringing the hammer down on the evil US government with the fact that you dont' have any compelling evidence. Your ranting on a relatively obscure internet forum and nothing else pretty much proves that.

Yeah yeah ok.

You were the one who thought protecting the US and attacking the US were one in the same that some people should be held accountable for.

Are you sure you're not a conspiracy theorist?

Why am I talking to you anymore?

Of course, I thought no such thing.

If you are deliberately lying to me about what I thought, I would advise you of the futility of such an action; if, on the other hand, you are insane enough to believe what you just wrote, I would advise you that you are unable to read my mind.

Are you sure you're not a conspiracy theorist?
Yes very sure. You can see this by the way that I attack conspiracy theories instead of defending them. These are two different things, as I have previously had occasion to remind you.

Why am I talking to you anymore?
Only you know. Perhaps you are addicted to lying; maybe you gain some sort of peverted sexual gratification from humiliating yourself in public ... sheesh, why are you asking me to account for your behavior?

You tell me what your motives are, I'm fascinated.

Sure it is. I asked it of you right here:
So do you agree with Obama when he says the U.S government was not complicit in the 9/11 attacks?

If you expect anyone to engage you in this discussion, you need to begin from a position of intellectual honesty. The view point you're expressing in this thread is some what contradictory to view points you've expressed in others. All I'm asking for is a little clarity so that I can know where you stand before we move forward.

So once again: Do you agree with Obama when he says the U.S government was not complicit in the 9/11 attacks?

It's really not a hard question.

Why all the hysterics?

The hysterics are because for truthers this is an extremely hard question. Because answering it requires him to take a stand, instead of the "just asking questions" cowardice they hide behind.

Stop the bickering. Everyone calm down and discuss the topic without further personalisation of issues.

I'll answer HI's question. That way he might actually answer some of the questions posed to him.

I think that, within the US government and intelligence framework, the blame should be apportioned to the CIA and FBI (plus other groups involved) for failing to share information properly. I also think that lax policy by the Government of the time contributed to a minor degree to the ability of the Al Queda operatives, but this was not necessarily a foreseeable issue.

Therefore I think that the intelligence departments as a whole should be criticised (as they have been) and information sharing policies and departmental cooperation to be encouraged (again, this has been done).

I think that the President should be criticised, along with his cabinet for not having taken the time to fully review all data on possible threats, and I think that someone or some people should be made accountable, although I'm not sure how this would be implimented.

I agree with this assessment, and most of this was covered in the 911 Commission Report. There were definitely some individuals who dropped the ball, but did they commit a crime? I say no.
