Kevin Barrett could break Libertarian records

You started out by claiming there were only 100 votes in the primary, now your are claiming there were over 5 TIMES that many votes, and even these claims are wrong.

You also are probably not aware that the voter turnout in Wisconsin for the primary was only 4% of registered voters, and that does not even include eligible voters who are not registered. So your claims of what you perceive to be low totals are invalid. Everybody got low votes totals. Most of the candidates on the ballot got even less votes than Barrett, yet you single him out. Barrett got more votes than Olson. If your conspiracy theories about 9/11 are so correct, why did Olson get LESS THAN 226 votes from fringe nutjobs? Huh?

I suggest you check your facts before you post. Not everything you read in the newspapers about politics is true. When you spread bogus info like this, that is how vote-counting conspiracies get started!

Okay, you're right. The numbers are different. Slightly different. But according to pages 25-51 of this pdf from the elections division of the State of Wisconsin's Government Accountability Board, the final numbers aren't exactly as impressive as you make it out to be with your broad "the numbers are all wrong, Barrett got more" rhetoric. They are, in fact, very close to the 332/226 Winona Daily News numbers from Suddenly's link. The link is an article, that, by the way, was posted the day after the election, while the reports on the certified final numbers were run 11 days later. A little shift in the numbers is not outside the realm of possibility. And looky there, the shift in numbers turned up more votes for your guy.
That is, if the State of Wisconsin's Government Accountability Board is to be believed.

And check out pages 29-55 of this pdf of the Democratic primary results. Ron Kind, running unopposed, got 18,039 votes. Also, check out pages 29-55 of this pdf with the Republican primary results. Republican Paul Stark, also running unopposed, pulled 17841 votes.
18,039 to 17,841... to 345.
The only contested primary in the district, the first time in history!!!!111!! third-party primary for a Congressional seat, and Barrett couldn't even pull 2% of the numbers of candidates running unopposed.
Your boy isn't going to win. Barrett will be lucky (and my faith in the sanity of the Wisconsin 3rd electorate will be shaken) if he pulls even one full percent.

I hate to use a overused word but "pathetic" is the only word I can think of that fully describes Galileo's desperate attempts to make it look that Barrett's run matters in the least.

Libertarians Again Top 1,000,000 Votes for U.S. House

November 5th, 2008 The Libertarian Party candidates for U.S. House will have polled over 1,000,000 votes, as soon as all the votes are counted. Preliminary figures are at 990,000, and perhaps 8% of all the votes (mostly absentees and provisionals) have not yet been counted.

The Libertarian Party also exceeded 1,000,000 for U.S. House in 2000, 2002, and 2004. It is the only minor party that has polled as many as 1,000,000 votes for U.S. House since 1914, when the Progressive Party polled 1,117,939 votes. Thanks to Greg Kaza for the 2008 calculation.
