I am what I am

@LL

After following all your responses in this thread, I have decided you do have a sense of humo(u)r. You just left it off your list. I'll take back what I said earlier. :boggled:

The evidence to make that conclusion is still lacking. Skeptics should withhold judgment until more evidence is forthcoming.

@LL: Please provide us with a knock knock joke for our analysis.

Robert Burns
To A Louse
On Seeing One On A Lady's Bonnet, At Church
1786
Type: Poem

Ha! whaur ye gaun, ye crowlin ferlie?
Your impudence protects you sairly;
I canna say but ye strunt rarely,
Owre gauze and lace;
Tho', faith! I fear ye dine but sparely
On sic a place.

Ye ugly, creepin, blastit wonner,
Detested, shunn'd by saunt an' sinner,
How daur ye set your fit upon her-
Sae fine a lady?
Gae somewhere else and seek your dinner
On some poor body.

Swith! in some beggar's haffet squattle;
There ye may creep, and sprawl, and sprattle,
Wi' ither kindred, jumping cattle,
In shoals and nations;
Whaur horn nor bane ne'er daur unsettle
Your thick plantations.

Now haud you there, ye're out o' sight,
Below the fatt'rels, snug and tight;
Na, faith ye yet! ye'll no be right,
Till ye've got on it-
The verra tapmost, tow'rin height
O' Miss' bonnet.

My sooth! right bauld ye set your nose out,
As plump an' grey as ony groset:
O for some rank, mercurial rozet,
Or fell, red smeddum,
I'd gie you sic a hearty dose o't,
Wad dress your droddum.

I wad na been surpris'd to spy
You on an auld wife's flainen toy;
Or aiblins some bit dubbie boy,
On's wyliecoat;
But Miss' fine Lunardi! fye!
How daur ye do't?

O Jeany, dinna toss your head,
An' set your beauties a' abread!
Ye little ken what cursed speed
The blastie's makin:
Thae winks an' finger-ends, I dread,
Are notice takin.

O wad some Power the giftie gie us
To see oursels as ithers see us!

It wad frae mony a blunder free us,
An' foolish notion:
What airs in dress an' gait wad lea'e us,
An' ev'n devotion!

Shalom LibraryLady. The only thing I will address is that I agree with you that some of the finest conversations I have ever had was with an under 6 child. Its usually a one way conversation though. I love the sound of a child talking and the way they express things.

*Nom, nom, nom, nom*

Eat babies? Moi?

Yes, there are people on these forums who do indeed talk about Jews as a monolith. I am addressing them. They aren't listening, but I don't really care.
I worked for Sportime.com for 6 years and its owned and operated by two very decent jewish men. Over half of the employees there were Jewish. I learned to respect them and quite frankly enjoy working around and with them. Along came a merger and goodbye Sportime but it was fine while it lasted.

Using a complicated analysis and a Tri-logarythmic Delta Graph, LL's knock knock joke got a score of 12985x10*12 on the Sense of Humor Digital Scale(SHDS).

This objectively falsifies Gord's hypothesis that LL has a sense of humor. We have to conclude that LL is humorless.
