Can't really deny that Satan sounds convincing

These arguments sounds just as convincing as Christian arguments:

"In order to really know Satan, one must go to him personally, without prejudice or expectations. One will find he does not conform to this or that denomination’s conceptions of “evil” which have been foolishly and thoughtlessly heaped upon him for centuries."

"Our objectives are to enlighten people to the truth and expose all of the lies these recent so-called "religions" have created regarding Satan, Satanism, and Satanists."

And so on.

Well, according to the bible he's at least not a homicidal maniac like that other character that somehow manages to get all the positive press.

According to Joyofsatan, what you said counts as one of the many false accusations against .....

...... SATAN!!

◊◊◊◊! the black and red is hard on the eyes.

I loved the "Teens for Satan" bit -

Mental!

Can any Christians describe what Satan's done that's worse than heaving almost everybody who ever lived into Hell for all eternity?

It's not even possible to be worse than that, save heaving everybody who ever lived into Hell for all eternity.

Well, I guess he could have made Hell a much nicer place to live in. Like a rival tourist spot to Heaven.

A friend of mine's father once referred me to that site, saying how it had changed his life. I made my friend promise never to leave me alone with his father again.

There was one amusing bit of the conversation leading up to his endorsement, though. After asking me what kind of stuff I read, he started telling me his reading list...

He: I read a lot of history. Civil War, WWII, stuff like that.
Me: Yeah. [predictable]
He: ...and Tom Clancy books...
Me: Yeah. [saw that coming]
He: ...and John Grisham...
Me: Yeah. [typical]
He: ...grimoires...
Me: Yeah. [wait...what?] Wait...what?

That and her rants about Jews controlling everything/conspiring against her, and her and her husband's involvements in the Nazi movement became tedious. I was semi-interested in the information until I started to read all of this.

"And lo, Lucifer! The Bringer of Middle Class Power Requirements; now and always must we cower within Satan's shadow."

Wait - it's a false accusation that he's not a homicidal maniac?

By the symbol of the creator, I swear henceforth to be
A faithful servant of his most puissant arch-angel
The Prince Lucifer
Whom the creator designated as his regent
And Lord of this world. Amen

I deny Jesus Christ, the deceiver
And I abjure the Christian faith
Holding in contempt all of it's works

As a being now possessed of a human body
In this world I swear to give my full allegiance
To it's lawful master, to worship him
Our Lord, oh Satan, and no other

In the name of Satan, the ruler of Earth
Open wide the gates of Hell and come forth from the abyss
By these names: Satan, Leviathan, Belial,
Lucifer
I will kiss the goat

I swear to give my mind, my body and soul unreservedly
To the furtherance of our Lord Satan's designs

Do what thou wilt, shall be the whole of the law

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be
World without end. Amen.

I have seen Him there
Master of Light, Master of the night
Master of all the things that shine

Oh I believe...
I believe in all that I have seen
And I have seen the Angel Of Light
I have seen the Angel Of Light... Lucifer
I have seen Him there
Deep down where the Devils dwell
Deep down in the darkest well

I will make a second deal with the Prince Of Light
Never will break the Oath I gave that night
Shine in all your glory, shine your light on me
I have seen Him there
Deep down where the Devils dwell
Deep down in the darkest well

Sounds like my reading list...except for John Grisham part, I read The Secret.

I always wondered about the stupidity of choosing the losing side in the war between good and evil. I now realize that there is another way of looking at it.
