The triage center was evacuated long before Barry Jennings's experience; all the normal occupants of the building were accounted for; all firefighters assigned to the building were accounted for. The only real possibility is that bodies fell in from the collapse of the north tower. That doesn't seem likely. NWO agents planting bodies in the building is of course absurd, as that doesn't further the conspiracy at all. The fact is, no one besides Barry Jennings believed there were bodies in that building, and he says he didn't even see any. All this is is just another alleged "inconsistency" based on a single unreliable witness that conspiracists have glommed onto without even thinking through the implications.

Such as, for instance, the triage set up in WTC7's lobby as the attacks were unfolding, before the building was evacuated. NIST helpfully mentions this in the NCSTAR 1-8 report, on page 163 of this huge honkin' pdf.

At approximately 9:30 a.m., FDNY, EMS established a Division for assisting victims at WTC7.³⁷² An EMS triage center was established in the lobby of WTC7 as occupants from WTC1 and WTC6 evacuated through WTC7.³⁷³ At approximately 9:44 a.m., after the report of a third aircraft heading into the city and news that the Pentagon had been attacked, a Deputy OEM Commissioner ordered the complete evacuation of WTC7. (Sheirer 2004)

(I was lucky to find that... had to trudge through a waist-deep mess of Larry said pull and Ghouliani had teh foreknowledge!!!!11!!1 conspiracy sites just to turn that up.)

It's entirely possible that victims who had already died and were lying in the lobby could have been left behind when the building was evacuated and the triage was moved. That would be a very difficult decision to make, of course, but it very well could have been made; hence the presence of bodies in the WTC7 lobby.

Jennings claims that he was let out of WTC 7 by a firefighter who said to him (I'm paraphrasing): "Don't look down or you'll see the bodies."

If true, what implications would his statement have?

It would mean those killed on Vesey Street by the missile that hit WTC7 (exploding the oil-filled transformers which Jennings experienced when he and Hess were in the stairwell) were moved into the building as a temporary morgue.

But the quote I attributed to him was accurate (semantically), was it not? Firefighter to Jennings: "Don't look don't or you'll see bodies."

He obviously didn't see any bodies because he didn't look down! But that doesn't mean there weren't any - the inference that there were bodies is pretty strong.

Makes sense to me.

Bodies that fell from WTC 1 could not be removed; they exploded into pieces upon impact. Those bodies inside WTC 7 were removed from the sidewalk on Vesey Street after the missile explosion.
