But the quote I attributed to him was accurate (semantically), was it not? Firefighter to Jennings: "Don't look don't or you'll see bodies."

He obviously didn't see any bodies because he didn't look down! But that doesn't mean there weren't any - the inference that there were bodies is pretty strong.

Just because you guys can't tell the difference between "mistaken" and "a nut and liar" doesn't mean that we're guilty of calling Jennings a nut and liar when we suggest that it's far, far more likely that he's simply mistaken.
