Picked up a copy of Randi's 1991 book, 'Psychic Investigator', on eBay a couple of weeks back. Started reading it this evening, and thought this was appropriate to post...

Briefly, and without wishing to appear paranoid, I should also tell you that in the past few years there has been a genuine campaign to discredit me and my work. Unable to deny the contents of my books and articles on paranormal subjects, a small group of misguided believers and frustrated practitioners of spurious miracles has concocted a bizarre tale of my life of which H.P. Lovecraft (or Ian Fleming) would have been quite proud. No, I am not an employee of the American CIA, nor am I a communist. I have not been arrested for 'inciting riots', nor for 'civil disobedience'. I was not deported from the USA as an undesirable person, I am not involved with narcotics and I do not accept the multitude of other nefarious attributes assigned to me by my opponents - though I cannot predict what new and diverting transgressions they will summon up with which to burden me. Fables come, as they say, with the territory.

Care to respond to our questions, Jim? They aren't going away.

Here's another one, just to be sure: assuming its rules stay as they are, will you apply to be tested for the JREF $1 million challenge? Yes or no?
 
I have already asked Jim if he'd be willing to discuss the MDC in another thread, but have as yet received no response.

Snidely referring to everyone who disagrees (which is pretty much everyone) with him as a 'cultist' isn't doing much for his popularity there or here.

Angel could not expose as he said he would and Randi has not either.

In fact my challenge is based upon the principals I used on the NBC show.

Why is it James and Criss could not back up their promises?

PS. Also posted the new Randi clip until the entire secret service thing is sorted out. A buddy talked to one agent today and they said it was a crime.

But I will call soon to confirm.
 
To be fair, I have never heard Mr. Callahan use the word "psychic" to describe what he does. Having said that, I have seen him allude to being something more than a magician.

At this page, he's called "paranormalist and master magician." And search the page for paranormal and see how many times it shows up (lots of keywords on that page, presumably for search engines).

Jim, it's a crime to alter, deface, or mutilate U.S. currency (code below). Will you be reporting Sasco and other companies that deface currency? If not, why not?

Actually, it quite plainly is. You've posted a couple of videos with some allegations that turned out to be true. With one you have repeated that mistake twice.

An anonymous "agent" told an anonymous "friend" that what Randi did was a crime?
Well, we might as well close this thread and demand that James Randi turn himself over to the authorities.

Small aside-When I see your tag, "H.O.A-X" at the end of your oh-so-mysterious missives, I find I have no interest whatsoever on what it might be an acronym for, and merely think it is a proper end to anything you post.
