Sarah Palin!

I know about the others, except Moore who tries to stay clear of the twoofers and Barbara Streisand: her husband and herself are two different people, if one is a twoofer doesn't mean the other is.

But I've never heard anything about Penn. Do you have a specific quote from him?

Moore "stays clear of the twoofers?" Did you watch Moore's stolen title "Fahrenheit 451?" He inspired the twoofers. Marion Cotillard is of the "twoofer" persuasion.

Brolin is in the MIHOP camp, while wife is in the LIHOP as is Dennis Kucinitch.

Did you watch Penn's "War Made Easy?" It is a history of the LIHOP and, or, MIHOP version of American history for the last 60+ years.

"Turned a deaf ear" does not necessarily mean "let it happen on purpose."

Again, this doesn't mean he is one. But he is a complete and utter idiot, no question about it.

Marion Cotillard is of the "twoofer" persuasion.

Who cares?

Yes for brolin, unsure about the two others. They don't seem to implicate that they willingly let it happen, but rather they were guilty of recklessness and indifference. That's not LIHOP.

You have every reason to disagree with this piece of propaganda, but it doesn't support your claim that Penn is a 9/11 truther.

This troubles me:

Surely a good presidential candidate would exercise a great deal of due diligence in making his VP choice. Completely independently of Palin's qualification, McCain met with her once and his staff did not visit Alaska as part of the vetting process? Forget Palin, this speaks volumes about McCain's qualifications to be Prez. Do we want another bozo who is going to govern from his gut? Four more years, indeed.

ETA: After a couple minutes thought, I find I'm even more outraged. This displays a degree of carelessness that even I would not have imagined of McCain. WTF is too mild.

I want to come back to your point, as I think it is crucial.

He chose somebody he barely knows to be the second most powerful person on the planet. Now imagine if that person had been a nut? Imagine if this person would turn out to be a Pat Buchanan type of person. I don't think Palin is, but since he didn't bother to check her out extensively, to vet her, this could have have been a possibility. The fact that he left it possible for just about anyone to get to such an important position without thinking it through is horrifying. I understand your outrage, because this kind of carelessness could lead to disaster.

Ferchrissakes, we have a conspiracy theory forum. What the hell does Sean Penn's views about 9/11 have to do with Sarah Palin? You know, the subject of this thread?

"Turned a deaf ear" does not necessarily mean "let it happen on purpose."

That same characterization seems to work for those who accuse FDR of supposedly knowing in advance about he Japanese plans, but not taking any action to prevent it. Is her quote an unequivocal position about Rice/Bush perfidy? Probably no more than the slippery answers by DRG on whether Barbara Olsen is alive or dead. That is the same game Penn plays. He accuses Bush of being capable of the most dastardly acts. Why do you suppose he is high-up on the "troofers" pet celebs?

Cicero continues to make his high-minded contributions to the dialog.

Sure. How dare anyone disrupt the proceedings with a disparaging comment about a women who confabulated a story about being under sniper fire. Please.

Lyndon LaRouche was on the air while the towers fell, spinning CT about the event. Please recognize your bias and dispose of it in the proper container.

Good luck on that! After he stated that "Penn and Streisand proclaimed 9/11 to be an inside job," I asked for the same. And asked. And asked.

Translation: He's wrong. Good luck getting him to own up to it.

In response to your assertion that Bill Clinton "proclaimed 18-million Hillary supporters" would vote for Obama, as evidence to show that you just make stuff up.

My assertion? William Jefferson did include Hillary's 18 million along with himself and his wife as going to vote for Obama. Better stick to defending Penn and Streisand from their "twoofer" beliefs.

Well according to Buchanan, himself, she was a supporter of his both in 96 and 2000*. Of course this alone does not mean she holds any or all of Pats borderline racist and anti-semantic beliefs but from the all the stories about the so called vetting it really would not surprise me they did not ask her who she supported in all of the major elections of her life especially while in public office.

If she has anything good to say about PB&J's latest book "Churchill & Hitler: The Unnecessary War," then she is as loony as he is.

It's interesting that the price of "Sarah Palin is the Republican VP nominee" isn't at 100% and has been dropping over the weekend on the prediction market, intrade:

FaisonMars, well, given the trouble that seems to be brewing, I can imagine a last-second change to Condi Rice or Huckabee; Either choice would rescue the ticket, and Rice is a most impressive person no matter what you think of her worldview.
