Are Truthers' accusations against Silverstein based on latent anti-Semitism?

My honest opinion of this topic: I think regardless of the fact, whoever owned the building and misspoke like Silverstein would be getting the hammer from truthers. HOWEVER and this is the key point, since his name is Larry SILVERSTEIN, it gives truthers the idea that somehow Israel was involved in 9/11. Go on Google and look up Larry Silverstein + Jew, Israel, or anythign like that, and tons of truther websites are devoted to this theory... I mean crackpot nonsense.

Michael Scheuer, author and former CIA guy who served as the Chief of the Bin Laden Issue Station, has written a new article for antiwar.com, called Turning the Tables on the Israel-Firsters

In it, he states

The reality and power of this anti-American, pro-Israel triangle – Israel-first politicians, civil servants, and pundits; AIPAC's corrupting influence; and the warmongering of major evangelical Protestant preachers – is so obvious and palpable that the only way its members can blur reality is to deny the triangle's existence and identify their critics as anti-Semites. Well, the time has come to simply ignore these folks' knee-jerk hurling of that epithet.

That the anti-Semite smear would also be freely tossed around outside the hallowed halls of JREF is something I find unsurprising. However, I have to take issue with Scheur when he says that "the time has come to simply ignore these folks' knee-jerk hurling of that epithet."

Continually ignoring smear merchants peddling their anti-Semitism fantasies right here at JREF strikes me as ill advised - I have not participated in this thread for no reason. However, the stakes in allowing the national discourse to be intimidated by similar smears are much greater. And frankly, I anticipate that the losers resulting from not dealing effectively with such despicable tactics, with regard to the current crisis in the ME, will not just be Americans and Iranians, but also Israelis - the presumptive benefactors.

I think not.

As I pointed out earlier, you're simply not bright enough to pull off your attempted deceptions. What examples have you presented of rationalists hurling "knee-jerk" smears? Right, you have no--ZERO--examples. The thread deals specifically with the baseless slanders of Larry Silverstein by conspiracy liars. The total absence of substance to the vague accusations made by your fellow liars raises the issue of lurking anti-Semitism--as you know.

The statistician to whom I originally showed my demonstration of the impossiblity of your imaginary conspiracy is arguably the foremost authority on the game of blackjack and a finance whiz who conducts options seminars for Morgan Stanley. He found the math rather elementary, while acknowledging the ineluctability of the conclusion.

Oh, really? And who is this statistician? And, more to the point, what are the details of your "demonstration"? If you ask the wrong question of an Einstein, you're not going to get the right answer. E.g., if you asked an idiotic question like "What are the odds that 1,000 CIA people would be 'in on it', when the odd of an individual CIA investigator keeping mum about a treasonous operation by the US government is 1 out of 100?" In other words, no matter what answer you would get to a dumb question which ignores complications like division of labor, as well as additional firewalls (implied in "need to know") present in organizations that rely on secrecy to be effective - the answer is irrelevant, because it's the wrong question.

So do tell us the details, why don't you? Surely you've posted your marvelous confirmation of your even more marvelous "demonstration", elsewhere? And said post would spell out the details of your "demonstration", correct? I'm sure the lurkers would enjoy seeing additional confirmation of your critical thinking skills, in addition to the stellar examples you've already provided, just in this thread.
