Oh, and yes (directed to inaptly self-named "truthers", not to you, leftysergeant), the vast debris and rubble was examined extensively, and no evidence of pre-planted explosives was found.

Why is there "every likelihood" that the FBI looked for evidence of explosives when the FBI reps with whom I have spoken have told me that of course the investigation looked for evidence of explosives? Given that looking for explosives is what the FBI does routinely, can't we assign a probability of 1 here?

Why does someone have to prove this to you? You said you had "ample evidence" when you signed up with the 9/11 truth petition; why can't you produce it? At least the chance of the FBI having checked, or considered explosives is 100 percent; not like the chance of you and 9/11 truth having "ample evidence".

I suspect those who signed the 9/11 truth ample evidence petition did not pay attention for the past 6 (SIX) years, and missed the evidence that the FBI considered explosives on 9/11, just like they missed what happen on 9/11.

Therefore, the combined minds of MacQueen, Legge, Zamboti, Thermite Jones, and Ryan, have duly waved their hands and declared it was explosives, and believe, or want other to believe it as explosives! Bad they used the Fetzer method, the Pulitzer Prize committee uses the facts, reality, and evidence method of awarding the Prize! Too bad for Ryan, he has tried what you did, just say you have "ample evidence" and hope no one has paid attention to the actual 9/11 event. This is called failure.

The nano-thermite is a pure lie, it would be easy to see evidence of nano-thermite if it was used. With no evidence of nano-thermites, Ryan has made up ideas not supported with facts or evidence. That was one crazy read, as Ryan includes more people in on the murder of people on 9/11. Why does 9/11 truth support terrorist, when the terrorist take credit for 9/11? Does 9/11 truth understand how stupid these ideas are when the real terrorist are taking sole credit for 9/11. There is no room left for the lies and false information of 9/11 truth, the terrorist take credit and want 9/11 truth to stop making up lies!

That would, of course, be the ideal response if, say, a rogue element wanted to pin the blame on UBL. He would be the perfect patsy; the first person any non-"moron", even skeptic would think of first.

Given the operational tempo of small-cell guerilla operations, 9/11 was not all that long after the Cole bombing, and Osama was already firmly linked in the public memory with that act. He was the first person who came to my mind when I turned on the radio, although this was after it had been established that it was an attack. I woke up after the second strike that day. So the Penttbom investigation didn't have budget for a press release regarding basic non-sensitive information about how the investigation was run. I find it unfathomable that the media was to lazy to ask. Maybe they wanted to avoid being the next recipient of anthrax letters? The vast majority of them are happy with the transparency and the outcome of the investigation. There is a pubslic statement from Brent Blanchard which states there was forensic testing done to all the steel and that it was catalogued. Why dont you contact him and ask him for comments?

One of the most important tools of fire investigations, even more valuable than the ice pick, is the standard Mark I Eyeball. If you stop and think of how many pieces of stuff were strewn higgledy-piggeldy across the ground, you might see where it were absurd to expect every piece to be tested for particular trace evidence. You have to decide on some basis on which to select steel to be tested. The obvious answer in this case is to just eyeball all of it, and test any piece that looked wierd to a fire fighter, welder or cop. Most of it came out looking rather uninteresting.
