Astral War, are your powers the kind that diminish if too many skeptics are near? I ask because many people on this board have come across more than a few claimants who describe wonderful powers that just don't seem to work if they are observed by skeptics.

So far, you seem to fall into that category. You have been repeatedly asked to provide any type of evidence at all and you seem baffled and confounded by the idea of having to prove yourself.

I can answer that: because I have not claimed that you are anything else than what you have introduced yourself as. That's how it works. (1) make a specific claim (2) provide reliable evidence.

Yes, we've heard that song before - many people show up here claiming amazing powers and describe how impressed all the skeptics will be. Unfortunately, they all back down when asked to perform. Perhaps you will be the first. Make your claim (please be precise) and provide some proof.

So you trolled the "trolls"? Right. That's a much more effective tactic than, I don't know, actually demonstrating the abilities you claim to have.

Not that it's relevant--the degrees quip was merely a weak pun--but I have a bachelor's, a master's, and a PhD.

I do not know why you havn't already knocked it over yourself. I am sure it would be more exciting if i did do it. But why should i when you can do it for yourself already. You should look within your heart when it comes to what you believe in. I wouild not want to do something to make anyone believe anything or change what they believe in.

Let's get straight about this. You've claimed to be able to do anything, and I, along with the others on this board, am prima facie inclined not to believe you. However, we would believe you if you did something to suggest your claim might be true, something that would supply at least some evidence for your claim. So, I suggested you knock my lamp over.

You see, on the whole people on this forum don't just accept bald assertions that people have powers. They want to see evidence that backs up those assertions. That's all I was asking for. You may be able to do what you claim. But you're really going to have to forgive us for not believing you if you can't give us any reason to believe you beyond your merely claiming that it is so.

In fact, the most concrete description of what he claims is that he heals with "hot energy". We shouldn't expect him to be able to knock over a lamp or the Pope's hat unless that is something that he claims that he can do. So far, he hasn't. I have described a protocol (designed by a 9-year old schoolgirl) which could determine whether AstralWar has the abilities that he claims. We're still waiting for his response to that.

I would rather get like 20 people and have them on paper right before i do their scan write down any bruises or bumps they had recently or any serious Injurys or diseases in their life. Then i will scan and say where i felt if i felt any at all and within that 20 I would want some that have nothing wrong with them at all after all are done you ask them if where they reported what was wrong with them felt something or not if a yes then i will state where it was and it will match if a No is Stated And i myself think there was I would WAnt that area checked on the surface for any recent surgery or abnormality

What do you mean here? Do you mean you need someone to literally lie down on paper so you can physically examine them? Or do you mean you want twenty volunteers to write down on paper every mark they have on their bodies, after which you will somehow astrally scan them and identify any problem areas?

I want 100% one example that i hit on relly hard was when i had this girl i knew she had dibetes and had been given herself shots for a long time when it came to the ones in her stomach I hit on those more than anything else ever. with a couple of inchs easy. when i do this its like searching for a stud with a stud finder you come across it and it beeps so you pass it and come back to make sure you it again and when i hit i try and put an x on it knowing that it is directly under me

what i hit on i think they call it insulin pockets or something like that would that be something i can do use 3 people with one of them giving theyselves injections within their stomach or somewhere for a long time and hit on who has diabetes cause i can feel the insulin pockets without touch at all

But did you cure her of her diabetes? You have earlier claimed the ability to heal, not just recognize. What exactly are your claims? Can you astrally scan someone and then heal them, or simply scan their body for medical issues?

And you mention here that you knew she had diabetes before the scan. Can you identify medical problems without prior knowledge? If you are now claiming that you cannot heal, just scan, but you can only scan when you have a priori knowledge, I don't see any paranormal power.

Quick note - while AW seems to be proposing something that can actually be put together into some sort of test, I ask that people look more closely. He is actually making a claim that is unfalsifiable. There are no conditions under which he would admit failure. If he is right, the person agrees with him. If he is wrong, all it means is that the person should be checked in that area for any "abnormality."

Make sure he defines failure. Because he won't. His ego won't let his contemplate it.

Okay, well this won't be a problem at all. AstralWar, can you scan from a distance? I am a member of a Dark Ages Reenactment society called the Ancient Arts Fellowship. Every weekend I get together with some of my mates and we swordfight. It's quite common that I get minor bruises while doing this. Do you think that you could astrally scan me and tell me where I have a bruise?

I don't have one right now, so don't even try yet. If you can say that you believe you can do this, I will go to training on Saturday (remember I'm in Australia so that's Friday in the US) and fight as normal. Saturday evening I will PM the location of any bruise I receive to a neutral third party - I suggest Hokulele, for no other reason than I like her. If you would like to suggest other people for me to send to, then I would be happy to do so.

On Monday, your time, you will post to this thread where you think I received a bruise.

The most common locations that I would receive a bruise are the left and right upper arm, the right forearm, the left and right thigh, and the right side of the body just under the ribs. That's six possible locations, and the chance of getting it right by pure random chance is approximately 16²/₃%. However, it's quite possible that I will receive a bruise on another part of my body not previously specified, or not at all. Thus you have probably a 10% or 12% chance of getting it correct by pure guesswork.

I agree. He (or she) stated initially that he could do anything. He claimed he could and has destroyed cults. He appeared to be willing to knock over a lamp with a description, which was provided, but then didn't. He was willing to attempt to heal Hokulele's astigmatism, asking questions, which were answered, and ArthW's smoking cravings and Empress' high blood pressure, then changed his mind or made flimsy excuses.

AstralWar is proving to be inconsistent, making grandiose claims one moment and backing out of each rather simple and straight-forward test the next.

AstralWar, just to clarify: Are you now admitting that you can't do anything? You can't knock over a lamp? You can't heal astigmatism or high blood pressure?
