15 FARC Hostages Rescued!

THE FOLLOWING IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.

How come Johnnycake Edward, Charlatan Margolis, and the “psychic” kids slated to appear on the Larry King Live show, didn’t foresee the release of the 15 hostages held by the FARC?

How come angels, guides, or spirits didn’t tell the “psychics” to stay home, thereby saving travel time & related expenses of getting them to the studio, allowing CNN and/or Mr. King to schedule the U.S. Hostages Freed! segment in the first place?

Note: A segment called Psychic Kids! was scheduled to appear on the Larry King Live show on CNN at 9:00 PM ET on Wednesday, 02 July 2008. That segment ended up not being shown at that scheduled time, because it was replaced with the BREAKING NEWS segment called U.S. Hostages Freed!

CNN's website listed "Psychic Kids! Some see dead people, others have a sixth sense! Wait until you see what they can do! Plus, John Edward and Char Margolis. It's gonna be a great show. They're predicting it!
Tonight, 9 pmET"

He heard you, you know?

Fifteen hostages freed. Beautiful.

F-ck FARC.

As for Larry King, I seem to remember CNN using him as a sports announcer in the early nineties. Man, did he ever suck.

Bravo to the Columbians. Apparently, they infiltrated the group holding the hostages, broght in unmarked choppers, convinced the hostage takers that they were simply handing them off to another FARC unit and lifted off with them...not a shot fired. Wow. It's like Entebe.

It really is a compliment to the Columbian special forces...I'm sure this took a long time to plan, but they kept it secret, paid-off who they had to pay off and it seems to have worked like a charm.

No. Not like Entebe.

At Entebe, the deception plan got the commandos in close to the terminal. From there on out, guns were used to knock off the terrorists.

In this case, the hostages did not even know they were rescued until they were in the air.

Should this be considered a blow to Chavez, since he didn't have anything to do with the release yet all the while he tried to be viewed as the mediating agent in this story?

I'm much more worried that Shrub or McCain will try to use it (or allow their camp followers to) as if either had jack feces to do with it.

CARACAS, Venezuela — Colombian commandos disguised as rebels spirited 15 hostages to freedom on Wednesday, including Ingrid Betancourt, a French-Colombian politician held for six years, and three American military contractors, according to the hostages and the Colombian authorities.

The only thing that would make this story better is if their disguises involved ridiculous fake-looking beards and/or comical accents.
