WTC 1 & 2. What happened after collapse initiation?

I understand that your illness will not permit you to acknowledge the possibility that you might be in error, but the suspicion must be creeping over you by now that your answer is laughably, ludicrously, embarrassingly, absurdly, preposterously, fantastically, staggeringly, breathtakingly, colossally, ridiculously, surreally, insanely WRONG.

Tell that to Isaac, FGS. This NWO physics is getting stranger and stranger.

Given this interesting interpretation of Newton, Heiwa, shouldn't the planes have just slammed into the building and fallen to the ground, intact, as if someone threw a pencil against a wall? The building, of course, would be intact as well, given these "balancing forces."

How come the plane went through the building when the forces acting on the building and the plane were the same?

Apparently the planes, arriving at 500 mph, stopped inside the buildings within 60 metres, and the passport of M. Atta, dropped down from one plane and was collected by an observer on the ground. All very strange to me. I wonder how Newton would have interpreted this event?
Maybe it was just Hollywood in action?

Yeah, I just have some sort of conceptual problem. There's an explanation. When I was a teenager, I used to do a fair amount of boxing. I figure now that the punches that lightly grazed my chin didn't hurt me because my chin hit the opposing fist with equal force. Similarly, the punches that connected solidly with my chin were also met by a counterbalancing force. The only question that remains is why the latter, the big punches, hurt so damn much and left me woozy as hell.

Boxing, the noble art of idiots, is not recommended, especially if you are a softy without proper strain energy. You forgot to danse on your toes, etc., etc.

Shall I give you the benefit of the doubt and assume your mistaken or should I look at your embellishment and claim you lied? You think you can cite the item about the passport?

Dunno what your problem is here, pom.
Action = reaction, right?
So, when a 10 million tonne asteroid travelling at 10,000kph strikes your house, clearly the forces are equal. Newton said so.
So the asteroid comes to a halt on your roof. It's pretty damn clear ... why must you fuss so about basic Newtonian physics??

Yes, the forces are equal. Cannot be otherwise. Luckily the roof of my house, built 1590, is very strong and anything dropping on it bounces off since then. Except a Swedish cannon ball 1640 (the town + my house was under attack by the Swedes) but it just punched a hole in the roof and broke an internal wooden spandrel. And nobody has bothered to fix that broken piece since. I can send you some photos, if you like. The hole in the roof was of course fixed. To stop the rain. In Saxony we like tight roofs. Glück auf!

According FBI M. Atta's passport was picked up somewhere on Manhattan and handed in to FBI on 911. Maybe Mr. Atta throw it out of the cockpit before landing inside WTC1? According Atta's father, a lawyer at Cairo, Mr. M. Atta, the son, phoned a few days later and wondered what he should do! Maybe they discussed the lost passport?

It was and the FBI is the source of info about the passport?! As I asked in my last post, cite please. You will be amazed what you learn when you don't rely on hearsay from other trurhers.

Please listen closely: You keep saying that if I drop the top third of a building onto the bottom two-thirds from a height of two miles, I WON'T CRUSH THE WHOLE STRUCTURE!

ARE YOU COMPLETELY OUT OF YOUR MIND????

Stop lying, you fool. Atta died when he flew a plane into a building. It wasn't even his passport that was found.

How crazy are you? The forces may be equal, BUT THE HOUSE GETS OBLITERATED!!!!!!

And yet you are totally clueless as to why a heavy punch does more damage than a light tap. The forces are equal, after all.

A well constructed non-answer. Care to try again?

Am I getting this right?
Heiwa insists that if you use feathers instead of bowling pins, the bowling ball will STOP when it hits the first feather because the forces are equal and opposite?
:dl: :dl: :dl: :dl: :dl:

Was this guy the one who put out that dumb "net force =0" video a few months ago that claimed according to Newton's third the towers shouldn't have fallen. If this is him I want to know because I would put him on ignore immediately for being a total flake.

Difficult Task

Here's a challenge for the real engineers. Heiwa's post # 185 is hard to top for sheer rock-headed idiocy. Can anyone explain what he's missing in terms that might be comprehensible to him?

Newton is of course right and the advisors of Condoleeza and GWB are wrong. Unfortunately Condo and GWB have never heard of Newton. I wonder about NIST. Hasn't it heard about Newton?

Yes, the forces are equal. One up, the other down according Newton. Equilibrium. Without it you would fly away.

And you are then 100% right. The upper block, the sheet of glass, and the lower structure, the bowling ball, experience equal forces at contact of any type.

And it means, according you, that the sheet of glass, the upper block, breaks. and the bowling ball, the lower structure, is hardly affected at contact.

It is not so simple re WTC1, but you are on the right track.

Or did I misunderstand? The upper block was the bowling ball and the lower structure of WTC1 was a sheet of glass?

That is Bazant, Seffen, NIST P0S! You do not believe that, do you? The plane hit the tower and released a bowling ball that dropped on a sheet of glass.

That is ridiculous. But NIST wants you to believe it.

Neither the bowling ball nor the sheet of glass was an analogy for either part of the structure. They are just an undeniable example of the fact that 'equal and opposite reaction' doesn't mean squat in the context you're applying it in.
