Hatfill gets $5.82 million in anthrax settlement

The Anthrax Mystery: Solved

http://web.archive.org/web/20050211195615/www.anthraxattacks.net/the-anthrax-mystery-solved.htm

Dr. Hatfill likely came to the attention of the Mossad when he first appeared in a photo with Afrikaner Resistance Movement leader Eugene Terre’Blanche and members of the paramilitary unit Aquila. The Mossad’s front organization, the South African Board of Jewish Deputies, would have taken notice of the newspaper photo. As an organization, they keep track of individuals and groups they consider hostile to Jews and their interests. The Afrikaner Resistance Movement would be the type of organization they would want to monitor. The information they obtained on Dr. Hatfill could very well have been passed onto the Mossad

So the guy isn't guilty and we have to acknowledge that the Anthrax attacks indeed were a self-inflicted wound? :

'The DNA sequence of the anthrax sent through the US mail in 2001 has been revealed and confirms suspicions that the bacteria originally came from a US military laboratory. The data released uses codenames for the reference strains against which the attack strain was compared. The two reference strains that appear identical to the attack strain most likely originated at the US Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases at Fort Detrick (USAMRIID), Maryland. The new work also shows that substantial genetic differences can emerge in two samples of an anthrax culture separated for only three years. This means the attacker's anthrax was not separated from its ancestors at USAMRIID for many generations.' [30] *snip*

Although the anthrax preparations were of different grades, all of the material derived from the same bacterial strain. Known as the Ames strain, it was first researched at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), Fort Detrick, Maryland. The Ames strain was then distributed to at least fifteen bio-research labs within the U.S. and six locations overseas. *snip*

How does this follow? If I were a foreign terrorist looking for a source for weaponized anthrax to use in the USA, US bioweapon labs would be an obvious spot to look.

Just because one particular guy wasn't the one who walked out of the lab with a vial of anthrax in his pocket to sell to terrorists doesn't mean that someone else didn't walk out with a vial in his pocket....

Most bio-weapons labs and bio-defense labs around the world had the Ames strain, so you can not say it was a self inflicted attack.

The US does not have a bio-weapons lab. It has a bio-defense lab. The US does not make bio-weapons.
However someone like Dr. Zack or an anti-Arab racist with connections to the Camel Club could have stolen the Ames strain from Fort Detrick.

Did they ever, though? (Be careful with your answer, I worked at Detrick)

I am asking you did the US ever make bio-weapons there and I am interested if you know Sea and/or Seb.

To my understanding the US stopped its bio-weapons program around 1970. Nixon had the Senate to ratify a bioweapons treaty. After that, Fort Detrict was used for defensive research against bio-weapons.

What do you wish to add?

But if the Army guy had done it then it would have been an American responsible and hence it would still have been a 'self-inflicted' wound, right?

Your first linked article does not say anything about the Mossad.

Your second article is a reprint from something called "National Vanguard". it contains a front page article with this headline:

The Assault on Art and Beauty: Josiah Nott looks at the biological and cultural reasons that make Jews tend to work against beauty and oppose all manifestations of beauty, as we see it, in the art of the West.
(Just say no to hotlinking to Nazi literature)

Excuse me if it seems like they are giving raving lunatics a bad name.

*cough* *cough*

The US does not ADMIT to making bioweapons. Given our nations history, it's fair to be skeptical of their claimed lack of research.

If there was a secret US bioweapons program the reporters who covered the anthrax story interviewing everyone they could think of would have picked-up on it. Bioweapon experts, especially in the area of anthrax, are few and far between.

Is it even possible to do research anti-bioweapon defense without researching bioweapons in first place?

The fact remains that we continue to research counters to bioweapons quite openly, and the only way to counter a weapon is to develop it and test various things to check their effectiveness against it.

Develop it being pretty much key here.

I direct attention to Project Clear Vision.
