After almost two years with no word on Kaz, it has been pointed out to me that her Wikipedia entry has been updated with the following information:

As of June 2008 she is still claiming to be a doctor, has replaced her 9/11 story with one about injuries sustained whilst being attacked when operating on war casualties in Rwanda. She claims she is very close friends with Imran Khan, The Dalai Lama and Nelson Mandela.

She is currently living in the Yarra Valley on the outskirts of Melbourne, Australia and now goes by Dr Caroline Evans.

I have sent emails to my Kaz Updates mailing list to see if anyone has any knowledge of this.

Once I confirm that this is true, I will update the web site to reflect this new information, so that anyone looking for informatin about her under this new name will find the site.

More on this as it develops.
 
Robert--I have tried to email you twice (once about a month ago and once last week) about the StopSylviaBrowne.com page. I am the free lance writer who was approached in the late 90s to "ghost write" for Hay House. The first came back after a few days, and I never heard from you on the second. Did you get it?

There IS a Dr. Caroline Evans in Melbourne, but if I remember correctly, she could not write this well. Also, THIS Caroline Evans appears to be legit.

I did a quick search (as I'm sure others have as well), and do see some stuff wrt a GP named Dr Caroline Evans from the UK. The website seems to loosly track with what you posted.

Assuming the picture on this site is legitimate, she does not appear to be Kaz....of course, this does not mean Kaz has not made up a name and borrowed someone else's experiences (as she did with her 9/11 story for example).

I have to wonder if she thinks that enough time has passed and that you are actively pursuing SB that it is safe to come out from under the rock she has been hiding under.

Something tells me she is about to find out differently. :D

Well, I googled. The only Dr. Caroline Evans, on the front page, is a pediatrician in Texas. The only thing about Kaz and Dr. Evans together is a link to this page. Just so you know, i did not go past the first page of google.

No, the change was made by "MissMollyMoo" on June 21, and yes, I am trying to contact her.
 
I have now received LOTS of confirmation of this. She is definitely pretending to be a doctor. More as I get details.

If she's posing as a M.D, I'd contact the Australian version of the AMA. I don't about Down Under, but it could very well be illegal to pose as an medical doctor, like it is here.
 
She stole my last name! IT'S WAR!

If this is true, the AMA would be most interested in it, as that's highly illegal.
 
My understanding of such laws is that it's only illegal if she dispenses medical advice under the guise of being a doctor.

I'm pretty certain that's the case in the UK, but it may be different in Australia.

As far as I'm aware "doctor" is not a protected title in the UK. It's use by non-medical doctors in medical contexts is frowned upon by the ASA, but I'm not sure if it is actually illegal. It might be to claim to be a medical doctor if you're not, though.
