Fight the Smears

I thought you did. You were the one linking to his alleged cousin earlier in this very thread. So I have to ask you what the heck was your point?

Daredelvis

I have no idea why you think that since I've specifically stated it twice now: once with regard to Odinga and once with regard to Cheney. You've quoted both now so I know you've seen both instances.

Are you still whining about that?

Have you thought of a reason why it matters yet?

Gee Dr. A, aren't you glad to find out that Obama's people are taking it more seriously than the rumor he might be the antichrist? Remember?

A quick google suggests that rather fewer people are concerned with Obama's relationship with Odinga than his possible identity as the Antichrist, but I'm not sure that his campaign should spend any time on that either.

Obama's people think it matters clearly or they wouldn't be spending any time on it right? (ETA after Dr. A's response below. I should've been faster) Tell you what, since you really want to know why it matters, why not go to the source? Go ahead and write a letter to the Obama campaign asking them why they think it matters enough that they'd spend time responding to it and then let us all know what they say. Then, you'll not only have the answer but I'll probably agree with them. That's win-win.

Either that or the person who asked them thought it mattered.

Has it occurred to you that he doesn't have a point?

If he does, he's remarkably coy about sharing it.

I want to know why it matters to you. You are, in this instance, the source. Why are you obsessing over Obama's non-cousin?

Go ahead and write a letter to the Obama campaign asking them why they think it matters enough that they'd spend time responding to it and then let us all know what they say. Then, you'll not only have the answer but I'll probably agree with them. That's win-win.
One of the great things about possessing a functioning brain is that it saves me postage in circumstances like these.

They are asked if Obama is Odinga's cousin. They know that Obama is not Odinga's cousin. Which should they do:

(a) Say "no".

(b) Lie.

(c) Refuse to answer the question.

If you picked (a), you may not be as dumb as you have thus far appeared.

No need to fight the smears...
Conservatives jumped on the Jerusalem Post's paraphrase that Malik said Obama "will be a good president for the Jewish people, despite his Muslim background" as some sort of evidence that Malik was saying Obama was raised a Muslim, which the campaign says he was not.

...
But nowhere in there does Malik expressly say anything about Obama having a Muslim background.

And nowhere does he "confirm" anything about Obama having a Muslim background.

Morons.

All hail vague snippets instead of in context quotes. Right DaChew?

Malik said:
I don’t think that’s in any way going to be something to worry about. I myself am not speaking for him. But we are here, we love people in general. People love us. I myself love people who love me. You know, so, and I think it’s mutual. I can’t go in terms of Israel and Kenya and America, and so forth, you know, but based on what else I’ve heard him say and what I know of him as an individual, I don’t think Israel should worry too much, you know, about the connection. Because, I am a Muslim myself, and I don’t think that my being a Muslim has got anything to do with my brother being the President of the United States.

Brainster, that photo has been debunked long ago. If I remember correctly, they were singing the national anthem when the photo was taken, not saying the pledge.
Do you realize that you just supported the point the photo was trying to make? ;)

If Obama was a Jew, no one would be challenging his background or his beliefs. Its only because he is a Muslim, and its ok to attack Muslims in this day and age.

I only non-Protestant President was assassinated before his first term was over.

Obama wrote:

We started down the road toward town, and in the silence, my mind began to rework Ray’s words that day with Kurt, all the discussions we had had before that, the events of that night. And by the time I had dropped my friends off, I had begun to see a new map of the world, one that was frightening in its simplicity, suffocating in its implications. We were always playing on the white man’s court, Ray had told me, by the white man’s rules. Whatever he decided to do, it was his decision to make, not yours, and because of that fundamental power he held over you, because it preceded and would outlast his individual motives and inclinations, any distinction between good and bad whites held negligible meaning.

In fact, you couldn’t even be sure that everything you had assumed to be an expression of your black, unfettered self – the humour, the song, the behind-the-back pass – had been freely chosen by you. At best, these things were a refuge; at worst, a trap.

Following this maddening logic, the only thing you could choose as your own was withdrawal into a smaller and smaller coil of rage, until being black meant only the knowledge of your own powerlessness, of your own defeat. And the final irony: should you refuse this defeat and lash out at your captors, they would have a name for that, too, a name that could cage you just as good. Paranoid. Militant. Violent. N*****.

Subject: This will Make You Think.......

I pray that every one that reads this will turn to your bible's, search the word and pray that we make the right choice. We are no longer a Christian nation founded on Christian value's. If you don't vote against Oboma, you will be voting for Oboma. Think about that one. Anita

This will make you think:

A Trivia question in Sunday School:

How long is the beast allowed to have authority in Revelations?

Guess the Answer? Revelations Chapter 13 tells us it is 42 months,

and you know what that is? Almost a four year term to a Presidency.

All I can say is Lord Have Mercy on us!

According to The Book of Revelations the anti-Christ is:

The Anti-Christ will be a man, in his 40s, of MUSLIM descent, who will

deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE

Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says that people will flock to him and

he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power, will

destroy everything.

Is it OBAMA??

I STRONGLY URGE each one of you to repost this as many times as you can!

Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media outlet...do it!

I refuse to take a chance on this unknown candidate who came out of nowhere.

God Bless America ~ America Bless God!

I guess my question really is, how did it come about that this person vote has the same weight as mine? (sarcasm intended)

Interesting, but I posted Obama's published racist words.

Attempting to equate that E-mail to Obama's words is sad.
