Another link between 9/11 truth and Mary Jane...

So even though I'm banned at PrisonPlanet forums, I still get their junk mail...today I got one pointing me here:

http://www.constitutionaltv.com/Legal.htm

According to the link, this guy apparently uses "medical marijuana" (although he's not in a state which permits it) and had plants growing in his residence. Law enforcement raided his property and siezed the illegal drugs and now he's looking for money for his legal defense fund.

Translation from Prisonplanetspeak to reality:

This truther was growing & smoking pot, got caught, and is now claiming that his rights were violated by an illegal search/seizure.
(and he wants truthers to pay his legal bills)

Is there anything that Jones won't solicit money for? Maybe I should join up and see if he can raise some cash for me to go on a holiday...

Now, now, honestly, some people NEED weed for medical purposes. We got it for my mother in law of my first marriage when she was dying of cancer, and the doctors were the ones who told us to do it! This was 1980 in very conservative Carroll, Iowa.

So, there are many things to ding these guys for, but this is NOT one of them.

I'm not going to go into details, but...when I started reading this thread, I was under the impression that Alex Jones was trying to find funds to repair an out-of-service garden tool...

As Miss Emily Litella might have said: "Never mind!"

Hmmm
Man busted for watching weed porn?
so they need to raise money for the Weed Whacker?

Judging by the donations that the truth movement has received, I find this highly unlikely.

Surprised AJ is allowing someone else's pitch for money to potentially distract from his "I need $2 mil to fight the nWo with a sweet TV studio" moneybomb... I mean, considering how well that one's going.

I like how everyone who smokes pot is stupid unless they are friends with Alex. He says stupid sounding callers "must be stoners" or "sound so stupid the must be smoking pot" but the next minute he is singing praises to Willie Nelson and Chong. Is there no end! There is video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Orj55fo1u9I&feature=related on YouTube of him and Joe Rogan burning some "hooter" on the Austin capitol steps but he "hates the stuff".

I'll never understand it.......

Maybe it is just to buy some munchies, you know maybe some crisps salt and vinegar but worcester sauce is OK, maybe some Nachos, some Mac an Cheese might go down too badly, but if you are going to do that how 'bout I do a special herb chilli, that would be cool I could do a Big pan of Chilli, and and we can break apart that pizza from 2 days ago to use for dipping.

mmm pizza

are we certain his use of marijuana was solely for medicinal purposes?

given that he lives in a state which doesnt permit medicinal marijuana its hard to think he had a prescription for it, and since we only have his ownb word we dont even know if this was on a doctors advice, prescribed or not

but regardless of that, its illegal in his state, plain and simple, i can buy oxycontin from a guy down the street from me, but whether i use it medicinally or recreationally its just as illegal

ultimately i think the issue to focus on is the claim that the search and seizure was without a warrant, youd think if that was true a "Legal Defense Fund" would be superfluous, as the police would have no evidence thats admissible in court

I've often said one reason I can never move to California is because I'd immediately catch glaucoma. :o

you can have up to 8 ounces in California. What I don't understand is why they would let someone hold up to 3200 dollars in drugs legally. That's almost begging people to abuse the refill card like most college students on adderall

If you grow it yourself, thats about $32 worth...

Weed is, well, a weed. Were it legal it would have almost zero profit to it.

Mr. Hogan is a Medical Cannabis Patient In Arkansas Who uses Cannabis for COLON DISEASE to create Appetite and control pain

There are legal ways to go about that, surely?

Nope.

It's not EVEN legal in states where there is a "Medical Marijuana" law because the US Department of Justice reserves the right to prosecute anybody for it under federal charges.

The irony being that this comes from the SAME Republican Party that touts "States Rights" when those "rights" exist to smack around black people...

As an "occasional" smoker, at least the Republicans are consistant on the issue. NOTHING he ever did pissed me off more than Clinton having his post-presidency interview with Rolling Stone where he said it shouldn't be illegal. Hey thanks for bringing that up during the 8 years you could have done something about it, douche.
