Why should I have to go to 911myths site to debunk what strikes the viewer as an obvious discrepancy between the confession tape bin Laden and 'real' bin Laden?

Because in this case "the viewer" is an uninformed layperson whose opinions are insignificant. The world at large (including video analysis experts) seem to be quite content with the authenticity of bin Laden's confession tape(s).

Shouldn't the CIA have provided this analysis when they released the confession?

What good would that have done? You wouldn't have believed the analysis they provided anyway, just like you don't believe it now.

If you think it's fake, then you have to prove it. And it shouldn't be too hard. Just get together some video analysis experts, and have them look at it. Please keep us posted on your progress.

The taping was a sting operation that involved U.S. and Saudi and/or Pakistani intelligence – which means that the United States had Osama bin Laden in its sights prior to the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan but passed on capturing or killing him in favor of invading.

No, I prefer it because it makes more sense. The 911myths site doesn't do a good job presenting its case. Scrolling up a page so I can see the 'halfway' between 2 photos doesn't cut it.

What I want to know is when some debunker tells me KSM is guilty of masterminding the 9/11 attacks because he went around bragging about it before he was even caught, how exactly the debunker can know that he wasn't just bragging? Especially in light of all the other crap he confessed to that he couldn’t possibly have been involved in. I think one CIA official called it a lot of white noise.

When did AQ officially come forward claiming responsibility? Because I thought UBL initially claimed to not be behind the attacks. Kind of a waste to go to all that trouble making such a grand statement and not immediately take credit for it. When did they list their grievances and demands?

How inconvenient for fantasists is it that a link to this site is provided on 911myths.com, in the "What's New?" section? The first group of entries for March refers to the year 2008: you have to keep going back to March 7, 2007. The myth of "fat" Osama was debunked long ago. The loons, typically, ignored the death of another of their evil movement's cherished falsehoods because they simply don't care if they're wrong.
