I'm a Berkeley student and stalker of jref. Somebody was distributing flyers advertising a (live) presentation of Richard Gage's "9/11: Blueprint for Truth" talk being held tonight on campus. The ability to confront one the leaders of the "movement" in person may be compelling enough to actually attend the session. The only problem is that it is Friday night. The question is, is it worth it?

Go get a beer!
If someone goes, can they ask "how can a group of dolts mess up 9/11 so thoroughly"?

I would sit for a second and walk out when thermite was mentioned.

I've bumped the thread concerning Gage's various lies. Poster Boloboffin has a pretty thorough dissection of Gage's various lies in his sig. There's a Bolo post in the last page of that thread, for ease of location.

If you'd rather ask Gage rather pointed questions than drink beer, that's up to you. If you do ask him questions, try to have an associate along to film. You can then post the result in the "Why do Truthers get so angry when their beliefs are challenged?" thread.

Beer or lunacy? I know which way I'd go, but that's just me.

Man I wish I could attend that...

Someone really needs to ask him "was it thermite or explosives?"

Maybe you could ask why he is giving lectures at UC Berkeley rather than taking his “evidence” of USG involvement in mass murder to the appropriate authorities.

Equally so,maybe you could ask him exactly how much he is being paid for his lecture and how much money he as made from promoting his beliefs,to date, rather than actually doing what he should rightly do and take this "evidence" to the authorities.

While you are at it,maybe ask him why he does not take it to the worlds media.

Why do you have to ask a question about something being worth anything, when the answer is already built into your value system?

You might also consider asking him why he keeps "calling for a new investigation" instead of actually doing any investigation with his cadre of "architects and engineers" *cough*.

;)

What you can do is the get the paper to go with you; have the paper write a story on the NEW WORLD ORDER SNAKE OIL SALESMAN!

Maybe it's a close call and he is worried there are values that he isn't taking into consideration.

Gage will just regurgitate the same, old, long debunked, nonsense that he's cribbed from others - as he always does - so the real question is: can you go to the Gage event, get your question(s) answered and then go out afterward as otherwise planned?

If so, best of both worlds. If not, go out with your friends. Gage won't say anything new or original. :)
