Penultimate Amazing
This you construed quite incorrectly, thereby mischaracterising my argument.
I construed quite reasonaby what you said.
The words I used were fine. It was your interpretation of words that weren't there that was wrong.
I only interpreted the words that were there. If there were some you neglected to include that's your problem. As I've pointed out before, I'm not psychic.
Good constructive argument as ever.
In response to "Boy, you're hard work". One statement ("You have no idea") in response to another. No argument involved. Just an exchange of opinions. I stand by mine.
My emphasis. It includes policy and science. The reports include a review of scientific literature. Looks like a duck, quacks like a duck.
"It includes a duck therefore it is a duck" is an unusual argument.
Once again, impugning with no evidence.
You've had the hots for the IPCC since before the start of this exchange. The IPCC "sweeping research under the carpet" claim which marked you down as a GWSceptic.
RoundRobin asked a question about bias in the IPCC. I provided an answer. How am I supposed to answer a question about the IPCC without talking about the IPCC? The IPCC has a role to play, obviously it is not the be all and end all and I have never suggested as such. However it is an important body and is supposed to be independent; yet it really isn't.
Have you ever considered discussing AGW without focussing on the IPCC? Which you regard as dependent on what, exactly?
The people that set up the IPCC think it's dependent on them, as the clients that specified their task. You seem to be of a different opinion.
I have provided clear evidence that the checks and balances are not there.
You've provided nothing of the sort. You've claimed that specific papers have been ignored because the IPCC reports fly in their face, but that's not evidence of any sort.
You, once again, provide opinion and assertion. Evidence versus opinion, hmmm...
Clarity versus evasive gabble. Evidence available on this very thread.
