Larry Silverstein Takes Questions....

Wait, doesn't each FDNY battalion have a chief?

Good question. But lets look at this...

Silverstein's spokesperson, Mr. McQuillan, later clarified:

"In the afternoon of September 11, Mr. Silverstein spoke to the Fire Department Commander on site at Seven World Trade Center. The Commander told Mr. Silverstein that there were several firefighters in the building working to contain the fires. Mr. Silverstein expressed his view that the most important thing was to protect the safety of those firefighters, including, if necessary, to have them withdraw from the building."

I don't know much about FDNY but the use of "the" when discussing "the fire department commander" suggests to me that there is only one. The rest of the quote suggests Larry talked to him.

I could be wrong though. Does anyone else know if there would have been multiple "chiefs" that day?

Sizzler don't you think that if there was a single iota of evidence that Larry is lying the insurance companies would have sometime during the last 7 years been ALL over it? Don't you find the lack of concern by the insurance companies to be a problem for your theory?

New York City – Today, U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-Brooklyn & Queens) called for stiff fines against insurance companies that have delayed work at Ground Zero by refusing to pay out on policies that covered the World Trade Center. Weiner urged the State Insurance Department to direct the penalties toward the completion of the World Trade Center Memorial in honor of the victims of 9/11.

That is possible. Perhaps someone claiming to be the fire chief called him and asked him what they should do with WTC7. That makes so much more sense.....
They didn't ask him what they should do. They told him what they were doing. It makes more sense that he assumed it was a chief considering he considers himself to be above conferring with less than that. this is how people like him think.

That makes sense, but not in light of this quote:

Again, Nigro denies this conversation and did not suggest that he had someone else call Larry thus leading to Larry's confusion as to who he was actually speaking to.

I still think the conversation did not happen.

This is amazing! The truthers are now saying Silverstein lied when he said he "pulled it".

Or in other words:

1: Either Silverstein said "pull it", and this is evidence for a conspiracy that he was part of.

OR

2: Silverstein did -not- say "pull it", and this is also evidence of a conspiracy that he was part of.

Must be nice having the kind of mindset where you have proof for your conclusion no matter what the facts are. At least, it must be nice as long as nobody's forcing you to take a reality check and tell you about concepts like "falsifiable theories".

In other words, you learned nothing from my interview with Arthur Scheuerman.

A spokesman? You don't believe in human fallibility do you. People can be mistaken. It means absolutely nothing. How do you figure Larry fits into this vast plan?

If they think he commited fraud they would only have to go see the DA. Time does not matter, there is no statue of limitation.

That makes sense. But to claim fraud would be to claim inside job. There is no evidence of inside job.

I do believe this thread demonstrates that Larry is lying about the conversation he had on the telephone about WTC7.

Correction. I, sizzler, am saying that.

Any comments as to why Larry lied about his conversation with Nigro?
There were 7 commanders of the FDNY on site that day yet you foolishly call Silverstien a liar. Why...is it that he is a joooo and the joooos are to blame for everything?

Yeah but the rest is relevant too.

I imagine some one could call around to find out who was the commander for that unit.

ETA: Yes it seem each Batt. does have a Chief.

ETAA: And 7 commanders. (Thanks enigma.)

About the "pull it" conversation. I am making one claim in this thread and one only.

It did not happen. That conversation, as Larry, and his spokesman later clarified, DID NOT happen.

That is my claim.

But to answer your question, I have no idea how Larry fits into a possible conspiracy theory surrounding 9-11.

As I said in the past and it needs repeating here. The truth movement is full of a bunch of impotent idiots. now one accuses Silverstein of lying.
