What I am saying, is if you believe so strongly in your convictions. Then stand up and present them in an intellectual dialogue.

That's all that I do. I present what I believe in. And argue my point.

You might be right. I thought he was just using shoah to mean a disaster. Which would show that he didn't think about how many Palestinians who genuinely (albeit wrongly in my opinion) fear genocide would interpret shoah to mean another Holocaust.

If he actually wanted the Palestinians to interpret the word as meaning a new Holocaust, then that is even worse. I can imagine ordinary Palestinians would feel enormous fear at these words but I can't see the Palestinian extremists being anything but pleased to have their views seemingly vindicated. Not to mention the damage to Israel's reputation overseas.
