Well, Red I., many conspiracy-believers (not just 9/11 folks by any means) easily slide over into finding Jews as the group behind every conspiracy. Magz is one of those, judging by his statements on this forum. You've avoided that pitfall so far, I believe. Just remember, he who sups with a pig needs a long spoon ... No, that isn't right. When you wrassle with the devil, you both get dirty, but he enjoys it... Wrong again. Nuts! Oh well, something about devils and spoons.

It seems definite that there were two different preparations used, but I can't even find out for sure whether one or both were penicillin-resistant of penicillin-susceptible.

I'm genuinely curious about that penicillin-susceptibility question because a susceptible strain seems inconsistent with the output of a national weapons program. If you're developing a biological WMD, leaving it treatable with the oldest antibiotic known to man just doesn't make a whole lot of sense, since "breeding" for resistance is possible.

The whole thing is just an enormous blank screen, perfect for everyone and his dog to project their personal hate object upon.

Hello, new here :)

I found looking at that History Channel vid that it's obviously (as we all know) just been cut down so the You Toobers can all get their jollies. It seems to be from the intro sequence which usually chucks a "Could it have been?" or "Can it be?" sort of question out there with dramatic music and out of context quotes. They're trying to get you to watch the show before they bore you with the facts :P

Even the person in the video that says it was an inside job, it's not specified. Post 9/11 everyone seems to think an inside job is the government but it really can be anyone, inside a religion, a goverment, a company, whatever. If this strain was created then distributed to many bio-research companies it seems more likely that it was someone within these private companies that she was referring to (just going by odds!) - anyways, perhaps someone can post the entire show unedited so we can see what conclusions are reached based on their research. If the entire program was about unveiling and admitting this huge US Government conspiracy I'd like to think they could post more than 87 seconds of vagueness...

It is my opinion based upon my research. Israel had the means, motive and opportunity to have launched the anthrax attacks.

That would seem to suggest that though the Ames strain originated from the US Military, it's widely distributed to bio companies inside and outside the US, and the anthrax used in the attacks wasn't military grade. *shrugs*
 
MagZ- means and opportunity was simply stolen anthrax, several envelopes, stamps, and a pen. as to a motive, many groups and personnel have an axe to grind with the usa.

It was the Ames strain. However it was refined and prepared in Israel’s bioweapons lab in Nes Ziona by Jewish scientists who had worked in the Soviet Union.

Israel had the means: their bioweapons facility in Nes Ziona.

Is hard to post to this much stupid, or does it come as an innate talent? This is all the effort this post deserves. 28 words, 115 characters.
 
If you're playing hypotheticals about who benefits the most, then why not look at Iran? Israel had a bloody lot to use with that theory if they were found out, for what? Revenge for Scuds? Maintaining an Iraqi-Iranian balance of power where they're eyeing each other would seem to be a better way for Israel to look at it.

Iran though, gets the US fearing bio weapons then feeds them incorrect data about Iraqs weapons program leading the West into a war against their main rival Iraq. Very little risk, and they become numero uno in the region while Iraq is in turmoil/rebuilding. They probably thought there was a chance they could make Iraq into a satellite state if things went well, have increased influence in country if things went moderately, and at worst have a severly weakened foe *shrugs*

Thats more interesting than what most probably happened though isn't it, some loner with no overseas terrorist/state ties acting on his own...
