The case against Dr. Paul

You didn't really read those bills, did you?

Say what? Where have I completely agreed with anything from that nutbar's platform? Please show me.

It's doing great. Nice recovery on the TSX today. We're weathering the American recession quite nicely so far. Thanks for asking.

I've read the titles of the Bills Paul did vote for or against. But you're
right, I didn't read all the details in all Bills. So feel free to point out
the racist aspects Paul did vote for. Well?

Ron Paul, less worse than Bush! Hardly a campaign slogan and it doesn't begin to address the electability of Paul or his past associations. The real tragedy of Ron Paul is that if all that's left of the Taft-Goldwater wing of the Republican party is Paul and a bunch of 9/11 truthers + internet gadflies, that part of the party is long gone.

Besides, less bad than Bush didn't work in 2004.

Bush and Kerry are cousins.

Seriously, how many of your ninth cousins twice removed do you have regular contact with? And since Hugh Hefner can also be tied to that lineage, what role do nekkid surgically-enhanced Playmates fill in your NWO fairy tale?

Why does a German care about the economics of America...I mean...I can understand foreign policy, but that seems the point that most foreigners would be smiled at, nodded to, and utterly ignored.

My comment is this:

Bush and Kerry are cousins. Both visited Bohemian Grove, both
were/or are members of the so called Skull&Bones.

I honestly don't know what this means and I don't see any
conspiracy in that.

However - I cannot determine about who is right or not unless
I know the facts ... And so far, nobody knows. So if Paul believes
that this is a conspiracy, I tend not to agree with him since it sounds
stupid to me. But I cannot prove this stance, either. Can you?
Did you read that whole letter Oliver? There is nothing rational about it, it's the rantings of a lunatic. I prefer these guys stay in the hills of Idaho, and not in the White House.

I don't believe in the NWO-BS. Paul doesn't either. So what's the point?
That Paul is opposed to any influence of foreign countries?

That doesn't sound like NWO to me and it's conform to Paul's stance
that America should keep it's independence about their policies. Personally
I think this is somewhat "backwards" since I don't see how globalization
is endangering my own life in any way as long there are no crucial changes
like a multinational constitution that is opposed to my believes.

Didn't happen so far - not even in the EU. So it's rather paranoia to
**** in ones pants about a "new world order fema-camp slave"-fear.

I don't really care about the Dollar since I think Giuliani, Hillary or
Romney should ride the wagon into the mud even more. But what
I really do is wondering about Americans who rather are happy with
the latest news about a candidates racial or religious issue than what
his political program and history reveals.

Why is that? Why the clown-circus rather than fair&balanced facts?
Stupidity?

Again - you're pointing to a news-letter which is once again against
every libertarian stance. So who is lying - the News-letter or Paul's
stance about freedom and liberty.

You can't have it both ways - unless you're actually able to point
out Paul's own stance about that contradicting his stance on Liberty,
equality and freedom.

And yes, playing the Uri Geller doesn't help you here to distract
from the whole clown circus. :)

Please god make it stop...

It will - once people are able to point out the facts about
when Paul makes sense. So far, and it always points to an
uncritical and non-factual agenda, nobody was able to take
a neutral stance.

I almost tend to think that the politics forum has nothing
to do with James Randi or his Ideas whatsoever. :)

It doesn't.

Well - why does the skepticism fail in politics? Either people are
stupid or mis-educated. But it doesn't require a Jura study to know
when people are talking straight and whenever people are promising
honey-hills and milk-rivers.

I really hope Hillary wins - and we'll see what it means to the
economy.

What points do you agree with Paul?

I love how Oliver tries time and time again to prove that Ron Paul does not mean what Ron Paul said.
Oliver just be honest and admit you support Paul because you like his aidea of a total withdrawal of the US from the world.

Yeah, it only makes sense to those who work for a living. :p

Well, Media-Designer isn't the most hard-working job over here,
but I think I'm worth my efforts. :">

Anyway: You're still jumping around the issues and you seem
to think that the "Front-Runners" are trustworthy for some strange
unfounded reasons.

So your favorite honey-future-teller is... ?

Point to where I said any candidate is trustworthy?

I just think Paul is a worse choice than almost any of them.

I honestly didn't think about withdrawal from the whole world yet,
but staying out of the Middle-East blabbering about "Democracy"
rather than the facts -aka:Oil- surely would be a good start.

And the US-Soldiers in Germany surely improve the economy over
here - so there is no reason to pull them away since you guys are
paying for our economic success. :p

On the other Hand - from US perspective, it doesn't make any
sense to stay here since the bases in Turkey are strategically
much more important to the US concerning the Middle-East. So
it makes sense to ask why this is important in any way.

But as I said. It's US-Tax-Money - so no matter if Paul or any
other Candidate wins. To me it's a win-win situation. :D :p

Anyway: I like Paul for being honest, being consistent, being
loyal to his wife and family, I like his profession and the conclusions
he draw out of it - and I like his stance on the most American
issues: "We the People - and the Constitution".

Plus he appeals to the rather liberal German stance of pro-life
concerning pro-choice and capital punishment.

Plus he reminds me of the perfect Grand-Pa and his ancestors
are German as well - as a side node.
