Former Italian President goes public about 9/11

Former Italian President Francesco Cossiga told CORRIERE DELLA SERA, Italy's oldest and most widely read newspaper, that the 9/11 attacks were run by CIA and MOSSAD operatives. He went on to say that this information was common knowledge amongst global intelligence agencies.

Cossiga served as Italy's President from 1985-1992. He was forced to resign when information surfaced linking him to Operation Gladio, a rogue intelligence network under NATO auspices that carried out "false flag" bombing operations throughout Europe during the 60's, 70's, and 80's.

Perhaps more people should have paid closer attention to Henry Ford in the 1920's, after he wrote the book, The International Jew: The World's Foremost Problem.

In the early part of the 1800's, Nathan Rothschild of London and his brother James Rothschild of Paris earned the nickname..The Demon Brothers. The Rothschild Family, along with a few of their "trillionaire" friends, have allegedly been running the world for some 200 years now. These are the folks Henry Ford was talking about.

Allegedly, starting and financing wars is their forte. Some say this is the most profitable form of business available anywhere. Oh well, all of this could just be more lies. Whatever the case, it does sound pretty interesting, doesn't it?

Couple of points, I'd have not started out with anti-semetism in my very first post, but that is the way you roll.

Second, that Cossiga thing has been debunked to death, you are probably reading a truther mistranslation, and he was in fact mocking his political opponents by comparing them to Troothers.

Actually our Italian friend Henry62 told me that Cossiga's statement was intended sarcastically, that nobody in Italy thinks he's really gone "Truther".

Brainster,I recall you telling me about that when I forwarded that story from American Free Press a while back.
Looking at the source of the story, it makes a lot of sense that they would give it a twoofer twist, seeing as how a few of the regular contributors to AFP include such fountains of wisdom as Ron Paul, Christopher Bollyn, and James P. Tucker, Jr.
The AFP also seems to have a anti-semitic leaning, having Holocaust deniers like Bollyn as a contributor and receiving condemnation from the Anti Defamation League.

I would be more inclined to believe Henry62's version of the story.

One curious thing...the AFP main site seems to have disappeared, although I was still able to access the story in question....:rolleyes:

Er, no. What he actually said was that it was common knowledge among the Italian centre-left.

That quote again in English:

"All democratic elements of America and Europe, and especially the Italian center-left, are well aware that the disastrous attack was planned and executed by the American CIA and the Mossad with help from organized Zionists in order to accuse the Arab world and to induce the Western powers to intervene in both Iraq and Afghanistan."

He himself is on the right wing of Italian politics. He was making a sarcastic (and inaccurate) gibe to the effect that his political opponents are Truthers.

DrAdequate, I am little bit ashamed, as I read the article quite quickly, and I did not notice that Cossiga was probably speaking ironically.
It is interesting to see, however, that the title of the article itself, states clearly that Cossiga says that the video(audio) of Bin Laden is a fake, with no indication of any irony at all.
You have to read the article (and I had to do it twice) in order to get the irony..
