Bigfoot - The Patterson-Gimlin Film

Notice that DFOOT, as a possible undercover NSA field agent, appears to conincidentally conceal his facial appearance in his photographs. Gee, I wonder why he does that?

Simple...He's afraid to be seen with his own crappy suits!

Wrong sir or madame! The technology for a bending foot didn't exist in 1967. Feet in those ancient times tended to remain rigid during walking and climbing. What you are claiming is not possible. It's just not...

(runs from the room in tears - then returns)

Sorry... I'm just emotional because I'm being beaten up my colleagues over at the BFF because I dared to suggest that the Meldrum print in the left photo might be similar to the bear track on the right.

I guess I'm suggesting that it might help to dispense with info that can be determined to be bogus whether we really, really like the guy that unearthed it or not. Just an idea I had once.

- Dfoot

What a find! Dfoot is arguing in post #1964, THAT THE P-G FILM FOOT WAS NOT POSSIBLE IN 1967. This appears to be a massive contradiction. This appears to be perjury.

Michael Dennett is Dfoot
Michael Dennett has in the past, written articles for Skeptical Inquirer
Michael Dennett has in the past, debunked the P-G suit claims by Morris and Heironimus here: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m2843/is_1_29/ai_n8642082

So Dfoot has changed his tune since 2005, when he pointed out the reasons to doubt that there ever was a suit used in the Patterson-Gimlin film. This again appears to be another massive contradiction with Dfoot. Contradiction mean perjury.

G' Morning. I see the insanity continues to spiral. Again... excellent examples of how Woo can procreate.

The above quote is from me being sarcastic and joking around. Anyone can read all of the posts and see the context in which it was written. Thus the mention of me by me of running out of the room in tears over the mere thought that a rubber foot could bend. I think it happened after Rick Noll told me no one made rubber feet back then.

Here's me grasping a foot that cannot exist and below is the reason for it.

Vulich and company own many, many suits that could be cannibalized to build some sort of Patty-type creature. Even the brown one behind the man shown in the BBC doc would look more like Patty than the Red Ape thing.

Again, no one thinks Patty is red with black hand-like feet. This is the joke of it all. The BBC showed a dumb hair suit can look as good as what was originally shown to people in the Patterson film. The first viewing I had looked like a black figure akin to the Manitoba footage. It was that bad. Yet Krantz and others jumped on the band wagon and it hasn't stopped since.

Sweaty - Again the bizarre ability to cherry pick things that are out of context amazes me. When I told you that in one photo I have a thigh pad that's too small while in the one of me walking I have a pad that MATCHES Patty, you chose to draw lines on the one that was smaller as if you'd made some discovery.

Read back and you'll see that I was testing how foam muscles moved. That meant the scapula and thigh area. I clearly said that I had not made longer arms and that all I did here was simply put on a forearm pad and gloves. Yet you now draw lines on that as if you cannot comprehend what you've read.

You can make the upper arm shorter and make the forearm as long as you like. It's easy as pie.

Also please note here that I realize Patty doesn't wear a baseball cap. This is because I wasn't trying to show anything about the facial make up of the mask. That is just my own head and not an attempt to recreate Patty's head. (*Seriously, I have to say this stuff)

manofthesea - I have no costume making ability at all. I just film them from time to time. It's the cult-like arguments regarding the creature fx people and what they can and cannot do that has hooked me on this. The fact that it's a suit is no mystery. The mystery is how wishful thinking can cloud the minds of reasonably smart people. I'm sure you'll agree.

Yet we must part company when it comes to Cube's subtle expressions during dramatic scenes. I'm sorry. I also must side with Correa when it comes to fighting reptile guys. Fighting reptile guys are one of the things we are working on here at NSA in the hopes of confusing the public over Bigfoot's existence. As more reptile-guy attacks occur, the Bigfoot community will grow anxious over the newly discovered strain of hairless Squatch and a brand new sub genre of Bigfootery will emerge. Thus, the hairy ones will be saved for our rocket research.

The last guy is 7'5" tall. He's done great work with NSA hoaxes in the past. Expect him to toss rocks during future expeditions.:jaw-dropp

Michael Dennett is Dfoot

When I was a pharmacist I interacted with a great deal of mentally ill people. At first the novelty of the experience was interesting, and it was kind of amusing to listen to what these people had to say.

But over time it became profoundly tiresome, as a large component of mental illness is narcissism. This is not the polite or "politically correct" thing to say, but sadly, it's true.

One aspect of the kind of narcissism I'm talking about is when the delusions involve interactions with, or having secret knowledge about, famous people.

A very troubled gal I know once sent me an e-mail lamenting how the poetry she wrote had been stolen by Kurt Cobain who used her thoughts to make a great deal of money.

Yes, at first Historian's pronouncements are kind of funny, and I admit to laughing at the whole Kitakaze-NSA thing. But now I'm at the point of repulsed disdain, and it's not funny anymore.

Before the Internet, stuff like this used to be scrawled on walls, or photocopied at Kinko's and taped to lamp-posts...

Ha! Surprised you know about that one. That movie looks cool if you edit it faster (drop the dialogue) and use your own music. Vulich's THING was the best thing in it. Really nice work.

Agreed. I'd imagine that most of the film's budget went into the costumes for the Thing and the Dr. Doom. Considering the film's relative obscurity amongst the general public, that'd make your "converted Thing suit" hoax idea even easier to pull off. I'd imagine that proponents would laugh whenever a skeptic would try to explain about its resemblence to a suit used in a movie that was never officially released.

Thanks for the flipped foot picture; now I can see the match more clearly. I wonder if it would be possible to determine the age of old casting material and/or the mold itself?

The guys working for Vulich also did the make-up for this guy on PLANET OF THE APES. This rehearsal shows foam muscle suits with partial hair. Fortunately for me all these suits are visible to the naked eye.

Yeah, if they'd made it a little blurrier and filmed it from a distance, we'd have people swearing up an down that the creatures in the video were two realistic to have been faked, no hoaxer would think of having two males fighting, etc.

This also reminds me of something I forgot to write about your Optic Nerve animation...I recall reading some Bigfoot proponent talking about how they had watched the special and claimed that the guy in the suit was "obviously" struggling while Patty was moving along without any trouble. Riiiight...

I have to agree with your first response.

Maybe you just need to watch some of his other feature films, particularly the "Friday" series. Great stuff. Really shows the character and flavor of American neighborhoods.

Well, if we have to entertain ourselves with 60's costume effects, can we be shown some Tarzan stuff? He was pretty cool, Johnny Weismuller, and a fair swimmer also.

The Chinese must have a couple of Yetis available then, because they're headed to the Moon before us. Probably just for a little mining or something.

That last guy should learn to dance like the Frankenstein monster in Young Frankenstein. You know, the "putting on the ritz" part.

If only there was some way to help them. Good post Tube.

I recall a relative with schitzophrenia, she constantly thought that she was being followed, harassed, by agents in black suits, they even ran her off the road once, and they often would call her on the phone and give her instructions to follow... sad but true.

Okay, A Serious Question Then

G' Morning. I see the insanity continues to spiral. Again... excellent examples of how Woo can procreate.

manofthesea - You rock! I have no costume making ability at all.

If it is somewhat provable that the PGF creature was a bloke in a suit, then how easy is it for someone to create the Myakka thing?

A serious answer would do, or we can continue the madness.

Notice how the elbow in your suit is in the wrong place of the arm, whereas Patty's is exactly where it should be. :)

I added lines to highlight the SIGNIFICANT difference in the elbow placements...

Yeah, but your photo of the guy in the suit needs to be shrunk -- it's too big, and not aligned with the Patterson photo very well at all. Judging by these two photos, the Patterson creature is only about five-foot-five.

In which way? I kinda have had enough of the rubber suit visuals.

Oh, you need to educate yourself in many ways if you want to engage in any serious debate.

For starters, I suggest the (un)reliability of eyewitnesses reports, mythology, scientific methodology, anatomy, FX tech and cinema.

Regarding cinema, check Monthy Python's "The Meaning of Life", for example. The machine that goes ping is what many bigfoot researchers need. Press the button every time a bigfoot (invisible or not) chases you around in the woods. The machine will go ping and you'll have an estimate of the critter's population. Very scientific, eh? Just like the bulk of the "evidence" presented so far... You might also want to check the "find the fish" part at the middle of the film. Those arms... That can't be a man, can it?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWlUu54muOs
And behold! The fingers move! That guy has pretty weird arms, but they must be real! I wonder what would be his IM...

Mr. Creosote can not also be a man in a suit, can he? I mean, draw lines at his shoulders... That can't be foam...
07-07-20_Mr_Creosote.jpg

Oh, and there's even a sequence that can be used to show how fake-looking Patty's breasts are too!

Another comparison of the elbows....

The suit is still coming-up short! It's such a shame....all that time and money spent on it, and it looks like it's going nowhere.

Gee Sweaty, way to draw lines between unmatched points on unscaled images..

You have really improved your video analysis skills from the days when you just started out doing frame captures from the MDF , and couldn't tell a transcoding artifact from motion blurring..

Hang in there...

We need only search the internet to see exactly where Matt Crowley is coming from, that he has preordained himself to be qualified to give medical diagnosis over the internet without a license. See his myspace page here: http://www.myspace.com/92476587

There we see that his qualifications for issuing a medical diagnosis, he lists as WELDER. Yessiree Bob, now that is pretty close to a PhD in medicine.

Then we might also ask ourselves, why Matt Crowley lives in denial of invisible/spirit/higher dimensional people as the Bigfoot people are. We need only refer back to his myspace page again that lists his religion as: ATHEIST. My thoughts on atheism, is that an atheist would attempt to refute all evidence of any kind of spirit people and/or higher dimensional people, because otherwise they would be compelled to go back to the drawing board, in regard to their religious beliefs. An atheist can hardly live in denial of a supreme/spirit invisible being and conversely accept the existence of lesser invisible/spirit beings.

Matt Crowley is predisposed to be critical of anyone and everyone who may put forth the possibility that Bigfoot are real spirit people. This modus operandi that he demonstrates here of masquerading as a Doctor practicing medicine without a license, is merely his fantasy role playing in his fantasy world, based on his misperception about the real world around him. And we all know what Dancing David says about misperception. This is also not the first time that Matt Crowley has gone out of his way to be highly critical of myself. It is easy to find persons who are critical or researchers who correctly call them as they see them. Calling them as they see them, is not a desirable research characteristic of Bigfoot researchers. Skeptics and believers alike, stand in line to malign the researcher who proposes alternate viewpoints despite those viewpoints being based on hundreds of field observations with the assistance of night vision monocles to verify "invisibility due to a likely presence in higher dimensions".

The NSA does not want the public to realize these invisible characteristics because 50 years down the road, designer gene tweeking could allow a terrorist country to assemble a massive army of invisible soldiers who at the very least, would have the element of surprise to their advantage. So the NSA has a specific vested interest in maintaining a presence on this website, as well as knowing which researcher is doing what and where his research areas are. Kitakaze, appears to have been well schooled in the art of character assassination over the internet. His logo lists him as in Japan, which is unlikely due to the times that he posts. So he has ruined his own credibility from the outset. To then consider Kitakaze as having a possible connection to the NSA, does not require much of a stretch of one's own imagination. Furthermore he seems to have been suddenly reassigned, when I pointed out that it appears that his job is to keep both readers and posters alike, as STUPID as possible in regard to accurate Bigfoot knowledge.

So if it is true that terrorists could utilize this knowledge to overrun us with invisible armies, and that government agencies are trying hard to suppress this knowledge, it must also be true that you are at the very least a security risk, and quite possibly a dangerous traitor to our national interest.

So tell me, historian, why do you hate America?

!

What about Eddie Munster? A real wolf boy.

Sweaty - I like the fact that you've posted one of the most revealing and informative pics of Patty next to me, but as Diogenes said, you've got your scale wrong. In the photo of me you show my knee, but Patty's is under the frame line. Not to bother mentioning the fact that the angle isn't even the same.

Never-the-less.... here is a corrected version. Elbow to elbow. Thigh to thigh. Neckline to neckline. The problem? My arm appears longer than Patty's. That makes me the real Bigfoot and Patty a poor imitation of me.;)

tube - It is difficult to tell on the net when someone is joking or angry or simply disturbed. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and talk to them anyway in the hopes that sincere Bigfoot researchers will lurk sometime and store away a few bits of this info. It may help them at a later time.

I know the word is hated, but I call it "fandom" rather than research most of the time. I just finished working for a month on a Pepsi Superbowl commercial featuring Justin Timberlake. We smashed three stunt doubles all over the place and did a few close-ups of Justin. In the spot Justin's face will be digitized onto the stuntmen. Yet if I mention this to a fan they won't believe it - even though I can prove I was there making the guys fly. Since they've already read that Justin did all his own stunts and have seen publicity pics of him in a harness there is no way they will believe me. I'll be just another Heironimus to them. This is the fan mind-set. I've seen it over and over. This is why Green, Meldrum and other very smart people cannot allow themselves to see things as they really are. Chambers called them "fans" of Bigfoot. I have to agree.

But I am concerned about this "Matt Crowley" fellow. Sounds too much like Aleister Crowley.

Security risk? I would have to have been given some closely guarded and closely held national secret, in order to even qualify to give up that secret.
Since Bigfoot are quite common, then they cannot possibly be closely held. Studying the Bigfoot is also quite legal. Since the FBI tells me that there is absolutely nothing illegal about Bigfoot research or possessing Bigfoot knowledge, then their is no closely held secret to give up. So there can be no security risk.

Traitor? A traitor is someone who performs some act that is both against federal law, and aids and abetts the enemy.
We have no enemies to my knowledge, when it comes to bigfoot knowledge. Furthermore, the act of concealing the Bigfoot's existence as the Federal Government does, contributes to the likelihood of mass hysteria, panic and general public distrust in their government in the future. In my wildest dreams, I cannot imagine a polititian wanting to be at the wheel, when the next Bigfoot panic occurs primarily as a result of decades of anti-bigfoot government sponsored propaganda. My efforts to head off that mass hysteria, panic and distrust in the government, are greatly underappreciated, to say the least. My specific work is in humanizing the bigfoot by bringing to light their most defining characteristics that ultimately describes them as more polite than us, more considerate than us, more friendly than us, more disciplined than us, more benevolent than us, and of higher morality than us. Consequently, my work is squarely in the national best interest, whereas people like yourself, Dfoot, Kitakaze and Correa are all working towards maximizing the adverse impact on the day that the inter-dimensional Bigfoot becomes UNDENIABLE. Both youself and them would then be working squarely against the best interests of the U.S., regardless of who is paying you.

So if you are trying to build a case for someone hating American on this thread, you own name would be at or near the top of that list of likely candidates. My name, would not even be considered for that list. Instead I am thinking, simultaneous Congressional Medal of Honor/ Nobel Peace Prize for my work in the humanization of the Bigfoot people. But that is all in my humble opinion, of course.

Before he and his girlfriend got eaten by a grizzly bear, Tim Treadwell spent months alone each year in the Alaskan wilderness in bear habitat.

He did this for about 13 years.

The last 5 of those years, he took still and vid cams with him and used them a lot.

If anyone should have encountered sasquatch, or signs of such, during those years, it should have been him.

Oh, Okay. That solves it. Bigfoot must not exist then since Treadwell never mentioned them or photographed them. Gee, what was I thinking?
