I've registered just to appreciate Mark Roberts work. I think I've seen most of the debates on google. His ability to stay cool while debating kooky, senile geriatrics and naive college kids is admirable. I don't think I can be around these people for a minute an a half much less an hour and a half. I commend you sir.

Well it wasn't, because humor is supposed to at least have some semblance to reality. You remind me of the woowoos who constantly tried to spout that James Randi was a 'cult leader', simply because we admired his body of work. It was a laughable accusation since if Randi were to tell any fan of his to drink poison Kool Aid he'd be told to go to hell.

You compare the admiration on this thread with the sycophancy aimed at Dylan Avery. Again this is invalid, we admire Gravy for the work he has done. Its not easy being a debunker; a troofer lie can be told in a second whereas debunking it can take pages of writing and days & weeks of research. Gravy has written tons of very gopod material on 911 CT claims, while Avery sits on his soon-to-be-bloated ass and edits videos full of lies while smoking pot and telling everyone how great he is.

I whole heartely agree with your interpretation of boy wonder. Try and be objective though, the comparison is absolutely similar. You guys worship "Gravy" like LCF worships Golden Boy, PERIOD. No offense directed at Roberts. I have actually begun going through his work and some of it appears to be good. It has even made me question some of my beliefs, however some of it is driven by emotion and lacks evidence plain and simple. I am not here to argue, I am here to possibly learn something and to mock Dylan Avery.

I would suggest you withdraw the remark. It makes you look bad. You'll be more respected around here if you can admit when you are wrong.

I did not say you claimed Randi was a cult leader. Please re-read what I wrote with some proper reading comprehension.

And I will not 'relax' when someone is taking the cheapest of cheap shots and trying to pass their envy and pettiness off as 'humor'.

Uh, no. Dylan has a cult-esque status and in fact his his antics have shown how much fanaticism he had worshipping him. What his fanboys did to 'protect' Dylan was criminal.

By comparison, Gravy was the victim of a mugging a few months ago. Did our admiration lead to similar antics? no.

So your comparison is completely invalid. PERIOD.

Its not a matter of being a skeptic. Its a matter of knowing what is funny, and what is just a cheap attack disguised as a joke. It also helps if the comparison has some semblance to reality, like all decent humor.

Finally, if this snotty comment from you was just a joke, why are you going to such lengths to defend the comparison? If you have to explain a joke, it was a pretty bad joke. If you have to defend a joke, there was probably something very wrong with it.
