Truthers are like horse flys, catch them pull one of the wings off, so they spin in a circle, then place them on an ant hill, and see how long it takes for them to anger the ants and be eaten.

Or treat them like ticks, when caught take them and drop them down ant lion holes and allow the ant lion to slowly pull them under.

To be fair, in 1940 the helmet used was the leather helmet, which I can't believe did very much in the way of protection. Also, that championship game was the last instance of a player NOT wearing a helmet: Dick Plasman of the chicago bears (it wasn't required until 1943). And they certainly didn't wear the pads that they do now.
