Bigfoot: The Invisible Variety

I used webster's online dictionary for the definition that I copied and pasted.

Liar.

Oh, and bigfoot is testable and repeatable under known field and weather conditions, and by using my closely held techniques. Since no national protective legislation exists at this time for the North American Bigfoot/Saquatch, I sure as heck are not going to post it on the internet, nor whisper it to any of you home boys.
An yet you refuse to sign up to claim Randi's $1M for your paranormal claims. You refuse to take that $1M and the tens of millions that would result from the immediate recognition of you as the preeminent bigfoot researcher, the sale of your tools for calling/communicating with bigfoot, and your huge fees for speaking engagements. You are unraveling as we watch, Neal. How many of those calling "systems" have you sold so far?

Perhaps by eavesdropping on my thoughts
I've actually been doing that for some time. It ain't a pretty picture.

ETA: Oops - I should not have called you a liar and I apologize. I linked to miriam-webster, not webster. But notice the "specialty definition" for Science: "An explanation for some phenomenon that is based on observation, experimentation, and reasoning". That again points to the need for testing and - ahem - "reasoning". Prove your claim, Neal.

Please note the 1999, 2007 and 1992 copyright dates. Which were well after 1974. Memory often fails. Biographys are normally fabricated to some extent. Furthermore, I never said either Hawking's wife or the physicist were at Berkeley. Hawking was studying the TOP SECRET DOD Bigfoot captivity study from Lawrence Livermore National Labs in the fall of 1974 AT U.C. BERKELEY. And Hawking could communicate effectively at that time as well. Your implication that during that entire time period, Hawking could not communicate effectively, reflects the level of absurdity and desperation of your search for an historical record to justify your own psychological DENIAL. SWOA! Can I interest you in perhaps several dozen handkerchiefs, for both you and the students that you have apparently POISONED THEIR MINDS? The greatest crime that a teacher can commit, by the way!
Anytime you can cite something beyond your own fantasy as a reference, we'd love to see it.

The Burg is melting.

You have yet to adequately explain how LL came to have bigfoot in captivity when BF can go invisible, walk through walls, read minds and control electronic equipment telepathically.

How did they capture bigfoot?

Jane Hawking documents, nearly week by week, Hawking's work at Caltech. Letters from 1974-75 confirm that he worked at Caltech and nowhere else. Letters from his colleagues at Caltech confirm that he was at Caltech. Records of his housing prove that he was housed in Pasadena.

I have found no--not one shred--of documentary evidence that Hawking was anywhere else than Caltech. You have offered no--not one shred--of documentary evidence placing him anywhere else than Caltech.

I submit that to any rational mind, the matter is closed.

Stephen Hawking spent the 1974-75 school year as a Sherman Fairchild Distinguished Scholar at Caltech. Case closed.

I have now read three biographies of Stephen Hawking:

Hawking, Jane. Music to Move the Stars: A Life with Stephen. London: Macmillan, 1999.
Larsen, Kristine. Stephen Hawking: A Biography. Amherst, NY: Prometheus Books, 2007.
White, Michael, and John Gribbin. Stephen Hawking: A Life in Science. NY: Plume, 1992.

The first, by Hawking's former wife, is extremely detailed and includes the texts of letters written by her to her family members. The second is by a woman who is also a physicist and who based much of her book on interviews with Hawking and others. They all agree on the chronology and the facts.

• In the spring of 1974, Stephen Hawking was awarded a Sherman Fairchild Distinguished Scholarship to support one year of advanced study at Caltech in Pasadena. The scholarship was available only to scholars working at Caltech and was not available to scholars working at Berkeley. The scholarship was, in fact, the Hawkings’ source of support for the 1974-75 school year.
• Stephen and Jane Hawking and their children arrived in Los Angeles at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, August 26, 1974.
• They moved into a house on South Wilson Avenue in Pasadena, where a graduate student, Bernard, was assigned to help Stephen physically.
• The Caltech campus was extensively equipped with ramps so that Stephen could get from place to place in his wheelchair. He was given an office at Caltech, which delighted him because it was air-conditioned and he found the heat in California a little oppressive at first.
• Stephen was frustrated because his speech had deteriorated to the point where it was extremely difficult for him to make himself understood to people who were not accustomed to his difficulties (he would not receive his first speech synthesizer for another ten years, following a bout of pneumonia and an emergency tracheotomy). Generally Bernard or another “translator” who was familiar with his speech patterns would accompany him (often it was Jane herself). This casts doubts on the assertion that Stephen would deliver impromptu lectures on bigfoot (or any other subject); he was somewhat sensitive about his increasing disability in speech.
• Letters from the Pasadena house by Jane confirm that Stephen Hawking was living in Pasadena and working at Caltech on the following dates:
• 30 August 1974
• 22 September 1974
• 25 October 1974
• 30 November 1974
• 14 January 1975
• 27 January 1975
• February 1975
• April 1975
• 20 June 1975
• 20 August 1975 (just before the family returned to Cambridge, England).
• During the 1974-75 school year, Stephen worked constantly at Caltech with a number of scholars, especially pairing with Kip Thorne in the study of the dynamics of black holes. He also became friends with Richard Feynman, among others, and he and Jane were frequent guests and hosts in gatherings of the Caltech faculty. He made a few side trips (he and the family, for example, went to Disneyland; in April of 1975 he returned to Cambridge for a brief visit and went on to Rome to receive a medal from the Pope for his achievement in science, returning to Caltech afterward), but he did not spend any substantial time at Berkeley.

It must really suck to be historian. At least if you stick to the fantasy realms, you can claim viability by insisting that others prove a negative. Stick your toe in the real world, though, and those mean skeptics will be all over you, providing evidence that you are wrong.

SWOA (SKEPTIC WRONG ONCE AGAIN)
You skeptics really got caught with your pants down on this one. Of all the dates listed by Spektator, only 3 dates occur during the fall term of 1974. Now this is where it gets really good. Of those three dates, TWO ARE ON WEEKENDS. Yessireee! WEEKENDS!!!!!!!!!! But wait! What about the third date. Well that date is a FRIDAY! So Hawking must have skipped town early to return to the comfort of his wife who was apparently parked down at CALTECH for the year. I positively passed, the one and only Stephen Hawking on the sidewalk at U.C. Berkeley, on a regular basis during the fall term of 1974. Because he was there, STUDYING THE BIGFOOT PEOPLE AND THE POTENTIAL REPERCUSSIONS TO THE UNIVERSE OF HIGHER DIMENSIONAL PEOPLE.

School term begins about Sept. 7th
• 22 September 1974 = sunday
• 25 October 1974 = friday
• 30 November 1974 = saturday
School term ends the week before Christmas

IT MUST REALLY SUCK TO BE A SKEPTIC TODAY! Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. But don't get your hopes up.

Read the book, historian. Jane writes, "Stephen worked in his office with Kip Thorne all this week, coming home late." Another book notes, "The groundskeepers constantly built new ramps throughout the fall of 1974, offeirng Hawking free access to practically all of the Caltech campus."

Do some research and stop embarrassing yourself.

*kitakaze grabs dice, rolls snake eyes, picks up player card* "You are driving on a lonely forest road at night in West Virginia when by the side of the road you see a large dark figure covered in what appears to be matted hair full of leaf litter. Upon being illuminated by your headlights the figure quickly darts into the forest. Too shaken by your encounter with bigfoot you promptly drive home, post the encounter on the BFRO, and refuse to ever use the road again."

Ummm... ahhh... ohh jeez... GHILLIE SUIT, GHILLIE SUIT, GHILLIE SUIT!!!

Did I make it? Did I make it!?

TIME DEMERITS TO KITAKAZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although a person who has never put on a ghillie suit or run through the forest at night without stepping on a trail, might think that kitakaze's seemingly clever reply is plausible. It in fact is not.

Let's first analyze the ghillie suit. It catches on every twig, thorn, branch and leaf in the forest. So one must have a wide open area to walk through AND have a flashlight to find that wide open area. So ghillie suits with no flashlight at night in the forest, are completely absurd!!!!!!!!!!!!

But it gets even better! Lets analyze just a human in the forest at night with no flashlight, and he doesn't get to walk or run on any trails. The forest is full of trees, brush and thorns. A man trying to move fast through a forest at night with no flashlight, will likely have both eyes poked out, clothes torn and scratches everywhere, plus either poison oak or poison ivy, and have that bear take a chunk out of his hind end. So a human running at night in the forest, without a flashlight, is again completely absurd!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boy, it must really suck to be kitakaze today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As to your above claim – no you didn’t, and your saying so does not mean it happened. Unless you can provide some kind of proof, it didn't happen - case closed.

As to the bulk of your post, obviously reading comprehension is not one of your better skills….

Humm....where in this most interesting tail is the part where "Bigfoot" appears? I mean...you mention bears, poison oak, poison ivy, thorns, etc. but no "Bigfoot"?

All you are doing is providing proof that Jane Hawking, IS A LIAR! Stephen Hawking apparently divorced her. Now you are providing possible evidence for WHY he divorced her. I have also stated in previous posts, that due to Stephen Hawking work at Berkeley on BIGFOOT, and a need for the scientific community to not have Stephen Hawking saddled with that on his resume for the rest of his life, that they were going to intentionally COVER THAT FACT UP. That was known on campus at the time. Perhaps it was in The Daily Californian. I noticed that you haven't done squat about quoting that campus rag. If you did, you would then be turning your research INTO A COMPLETE JOKE, because you failed to research the most UNBIASED RESOURCE available. After all, do you think that Jane Hawking wants her husband to be labeled with BIGFOOT for the rest of his career. I DON'T THINK SO! Do some real research Spektator, and stop embarassing yourself by quoting HEAVILY BIASED sources.

More quotes from Jane Hawking's book:

"Stephen and I watch BBC imports in the evenings...." (253). Evidently Stephen returned to his home near Caltech every evening to watch TV with Jane.

"We never had a dull moment [at Caltech]....if there had been earthquakes, we problably should not have noticed them, just as Stephen failed to notice a major earthquake in Persia once...." (259).

"Stephen is thoroughly enjoying Caltech and is getting up to all sorts of mischief. He and Kip Thorne have concocted a bet. Stephen bet Kip that the constellation of Cygnus X-1 does not contain a black hole...." (261).

In October, 1974: "Stephen has attained a position of some eminence...[the people at Caltech] have the best of everything here." However, "Gargantuan meals are served on beds of salad which no one is expected to eat, and in a land which cultivates an image of youth and fitness, I have never seen so manyh grossly obese people." She notes that is strange, since she and Stephen "live only half an hour from that shrine of shapeliness and glamor, Hollywood." (265)

On page 266, she notes that Stephen made his first side trip away from their home in Pasadena: "we went up to Santa Barbara, where Stephen spent the entire weekend in conference with Jim Hartle."

These are from contemporary letters, written in 1974-75. And from the tenor of the book, there is no way that Jane would be separated from Stephen for even a couple of days if she could help it, let alone a week at a time. Hawking was at Caltech. Deal with it.

As for the campus newspaper from Berkeley, I have an inquiry in about securing microform copies of the paper from 1974-75. I don't know whether I can get them or not--it's hard to get microforms through interstate interlibrary loan--but I'm working on it.

By the way, given three separate, independently written sources all of which cross-confirm each other, as opposed to the sources historian has offered--none, nada, zilch--I would suggest that historian's judgment of what a heavily biased source is may be, at best, faulty.

How do you know?

Field research is the correct answer.

I can ask them to perform complicated tasks by whispering that task to them, while they are 70 to 100 yards away in the forest at night. They then perform that task. They can't possibly hear me whispering. So they can only comprehend that task by using mental telepathic abilities.

They also like to position themselves in the woods within earshot of my tent. When I wake up in the middle of the night, they will make a noise that I worked out the previous evening, before I hit the sack. They know when I wake up in the middle of the night, even when I do not make any noise. That requires mental telepathic abilities.

I have also caught them eavedropping on my dreams, at home, in the suburbs. Because they slapped the side of the house in the middle of the night, next to my bedroom, at the split second that they did not like the dream that I had.

Case closed. They have excellent mental telepathic abilities. Which is why trail cams and other cameras are so ineffective.

Simple.

Area 51 tech.

Now let me get this right, you Spektator, an obviously heavily biased researcher, are quoting a heavily biased source with a financial interest in misrepresenting the truth, and YOU THINK THAT YOU HAVE EVIDENCE THAT IS NOT TAINTED????? NOW THAT IS FUNNY!

...delusions snipped...
Case closed. They have excellent mental telepathic abilities. Which is why trail cams and other cameras are so ineffective.
Whaaaaat?

Bigfeet telepathically detect trail rail cams? Cams have minds?

Getting sillier and sillier...

Ever figured how EMPs can erase DVDs?
