Apart from the obvious typo it would seem that the stundies have been running since 1979, it pre-dates the forum (opened august 2001) and even the internet!!

Honestly it makes me cringe, I've been avoiding posting much recently but some of the things said just make me frustrated.

I know. Every couple of weeks there's another thread about how vaccines are evil or chemtrails are killing everyone. A FEW rational voices speak up but then the loons take over.

But, I guess that's what the Stundies are for.

I like the implication that being an "ignorant murderer apologist" is bad, but not understanding the meaning of "annual" is somehow worse.
 
It's pretty amazing. We're not even through the 2nd of the month and we've got enough examples to hold the contest already. At this rate we'll have to have a Daily Stundie contest.
