Why is homosexuality wrong?

Bestiality has victims? What if the animal wants it and the person manhandling the beast is gentle? ;)

Incest doesn't quite have victims if both partners are willing. The problem comes when you have kids.

Religion doesn't follow any rule that all crimes must have victims. What about the prohibitions in the Old Testament against eating owls, eagles, and bats? Or keeping the Sabbath holy?

I think it comes down to this: some people find some behaviors so repugnant that they would prefer that nobody acts that way. They then seek to impose their beliefs on others to prevent them from performing that offensive behavior.

"Why can't they just mind their own business?" you may ask. Yes, very good question.

Your mistake here is that you're trying to assign reasonable thinking to an irrational belief. The biblical god is absurd, and as such, has many contradictory positions and many silly, arbitrary rules that make no sense.

This is all BS. These "statistics" come from Paul Cameron, who was expelled from the American Psychological Association for misrepresenting the work of others and repeatedly using unsound methods in his own studies. These figures were obtained by recording and comparing obituaries from regular newspapers and homosexual newspapers. These homosexual newspapers do not record all deaths of homosexuals within the community. Unlike a typical newspaper obituary which is meant as a record of deaths in the population as a whole, the obituaries in the gay newspapers are used by friends and peers to mourn the loss of individuals in the gay community, particularly those who have died young from illness or accident. The result is a laughably invalid survey.

There is a big difference. You stated that female prostitution is a sin according to the bible, and brought this up as an example. You are wrong, this woman was not a prostitute, but an adulterer. You are again making things up as to what is and is not in the bible.

Well he's got a point. Unless you want to dispute the fact that a married couple who engages in sexual activity purely for their own pleasure will, at best, be unhappier and more unfulfilled than a married couple who only engage in sex with the intent of having a child.
