I would venture that this IS the new Ruby Ridge style standoff. No more shooting people or burning kids alive, especially with that pesky News Media involved. Stealth and deception works better.

I think everybody from Koresh to the FBI helped make that compound as flamable as possible. The FBI's behavior on the last day was virtually guaranteed to start a fire. The loonies inside were virtually guaranteed to brun to death rather than just coming out and giving up.

I think that there's reason to believe that supressing fire from FBI agents outside as well as sparks from smoke grenades and friction from having walls torn down by tanks may have caused sparks that ignited more than one blaze.

Rules of Engagement really does give an unflinching account of everybody's activities on that day and nobody comes off looking good.
