Comic strip a conspiracy myth

omg..i just ran into someone who had one dating back to 1888 . an the Antiques Roadshow, a model 6 (made in 1923) was valued at $2300. a 1950's singer sells for about $300-$1000 depending on its condition.

plushie kitty..

Excellent job, Arus!

Must.
Have.
A.
Plushie.
NWO Kitty!

I would be delighted if you can send me the pattern you used. My sister has our deceased grandmother's old Singer treadle sewing machine, circa ~1930 or so and it can sew through anything. I'd love to stitch up an NWO Kitty plushie if you don't mind sharing the pattern.

Again, excellent job!

Lashl Thanks! I'll try to get my scanner working. its been a while. otherwise, i'll just draw up a pattern, and just put measurements on it.

Want! I have a Pfaff I can dig out and turn off the auto-feed. If you need anything shipped from Hawai'i, let me know!

Horatius, the response you had regarding the "drop-fire" issue was genius, pure genius.

BTW, for anyone who are still interested in the t-shirts, I will be back home on Tuesday and should be able to get the store up and running in the next few days.

Oh MAN! That is TOO COOL!

God, I want an NWO Plush Kitty for my very own - I'll call him Darat! :D

The essence of cuddly evil! Great job!

OH i'd give anything for a classic industrial Singer sewing machine (like the ones from 1910 or 1915) those things could be hit by a mack truck and still function.
Ah! I just sold two 1917 Singers, one with period table and all the attachments. Beautiful machines.

This is what I love about this place. Who'd've thought that Big Bad Gravy, Scourge of the Truthers, Debunker Of Your Very Existence, would be interested in antique sewing machines?

:)

Once I was having trouble adjusting the tension on one of those machines, and I worked the treadle so much that I hyperextended my knee. I got a call to come out and play football, and I had to explain that I couldn't because I had a sewing injury. It was my Rosie Grier moment.

thanks ^_^

and Im envious. a 1917 model. My grandmother had a machine from 1927, and I remember her sewing up all our pajamas and plushies on that machine. Just when I got back into sewing, I asked her about the machine, and she told me she had thrown it away... table and all.

Arus! Fan-frelling-tastic plushie!!! :wackynotworthy:

I'd be interested in a copy of the pattern too, when you're ready.
