Alex Jones is an actor

Yeah, this movement just doesn't have that delusional feel to it. I feel like they're just exploiting everyone's credulity to make some quick money. I mean jesus, look at all of the "documentaries" Alex Jones has released. It does seem suspicious to me.

Hitler was an actor, too, and, at the same time, really believed his own BS.

Hitler was also 9 for 9 on that list. Only difference is that people were gullible enough and angry enough to vote for Hitler.

The Pope scores 9 for 9 too. :boggled:

Apply that to most fundamentalist, religious activists of just about any stripe, I think.

Falwell and Roberston come readily to mind.

One of my favorite books is "The Mind of the Bible Believer", which discusses various aspects of how certain habits are inculcated in fervent "bible believing" Christians. Having been one in an earlier part of my life, I found the book extremely insightful.

You have a choice with folks like Jones. The one option is Narcissistic Personality Disorder discussed above. Another option is very common among some of the most vocal religious wingnuts - deep down they really don't believe what they are selling, but they press on because (a) they are trying to convince themselves or (b) they've reached the point where they don't have any other skill set with which to earn a living.

"B)" seems fairly reasonable to me considering my analysis of watching his demeanor on camera.

I have a theory that Alex and others like him are paid by the US Government; so that those concerned by corruption & potential human rights abuses get lumped in with loony conspiracy nuts and therefore the real problems get ignored...

Why do you think he was singled out and arrested, then let go so quick? His handlers needed to discuss the events of the next few days with him to make sure that he knew all the right things to say and where to be.

Judging by the tapes and viewing intently of his "off the camera" commentary and facial expressions I'm starting to feel like Alex Jones doesn't really believe what he's saying and it's just all an act to make money. My suspicions grew a little further during his recent tape of getting out of jail where he half-heartedly yelled "how many of you think 9/11 was an inside job?" and then when his minions screamed 'yeah!' he just laughed and said "now lets get something to eat." I seriously think a purely delusional man wouldn't yell out those sort of questions nonchalantly if his beliefs of the NWO were truly deep seated, but maybe that's just my perception. I don't know, do you think he's really delusional like this in real life or just playing an act to make money?

I don't think he's an actor.

I think he's mentally ill.

Exhibit A.

O..... k....

That was scary in a "That guy should be getting professional help" sort of way.

This is hilarious! Anyone has a link to the vid?

He was dropped out of the same mothership as Micheal "Savage" Wiener.

Hey, you there in the saucer. How many times do I have to tell you? Don't drop them head-first.
