Firstly, I see you have made no further comment about that quote, so I take it that that is as close as I'm going to get to an apology. :)

Secondly, I do not have "hissy fits". You would be surprised ar how calmly and good naturedly I repond to the posts in this thread. But, in reference to that so called "hissy fit", you will have to link to it because I can't think of a single reason why I would have denied that "began to exist" is the same as "came into existence". They very obviously mean the same thing.

Thirdly, universe as I have used it here is interchangeable with "multiverse", "bubble universe", or "everything that has ever existed". This is why "something from something else" is out of the range of my question about origins. Remember that I have been talking about ultimate questions. If this universe is not all there is, then we can use one of the other terms.

Lastly, my apologies for miss-attributing to you the idea of circular time. My only excuse is that I am responding to perhaps a half a dozen posters, and I simply lost track. :(


BTW, do you ascribe to circular time as a solution to our little problem.

That's a good point actually, Robin. BillyJoe doesn't chuck hissy fits. He repeatedly presents his arguments with a calm and cool demeanour, despite all the evidence against them.

You mean, except when he calls someone a liar and a fake, whose only crime is presenting ideas which he cannot yet understand.
 
This is actually the three dimensional shadow of a four dimensional hypercube. To truly understand four dimensional space one needs to be able to picture it with all the lines the same length and all angles 90 degrees. Have fun.

I was talking about my demeanour while writing my words and reading the words written by others, not the demeanour of the person reading my words and writing their own words. I cannot be held responsible for that. :)

This is the problem with putting someone on ignore, you cannot even see when they have apologised.

Just to be clear, that phrase - which has been consored out of my posts at Z's instigation, but lives on in his own posts (how's that for irony!) - was written by me after Z pretended to characterise me as someone who has found god even though he knows this is not the case and that this is not my argument.

I would happily repeat that phrase, if I could do so without upsetting Z and incurring a suspension. :)
 
I thought that the only reason you would have linked to that inferior shetch drawing, was if you hadn't seen the animated versions I have posted here. The only way you could have missed them is if you had me on ignore.
