Comic strip a conspiracy myth

I'd go with persecution complex. In the few, generally inconsequential interactions I've had with him, he's already called me on my "hostile tone" and such. He seems to assume everybody's ganging up on him even when it just ain't so. I'd say, if you can't stand to have it pointed out that you're wrong, even in the most minor respect (well, compared to Kirkman anyway!), then be somewhere else.

Rolfe.

Hmmm, I thought so. Least I know where I stand with you now Rolfe.

Well, you shouldn't be so touchy. I didn't have the slightest thought to your disfavour, but you started coming all over about my "hostile tone". For the record, although I've seen others describe you as a "truther", I've seen only neutral commentary posts. It's the exceptionally touchy attitude that stands out. I'd say "persecution complex" sums up what I've observed quite nicely. Especially the cartoons.

It's an anagram, okay?

So let's see where this leads....

Anagrams are ad hom attacks. As are euphemisms, haiku, palindromes and diphthongs. And don't even get me started on metaphors.

Dipthongs aren't an ad hom attack, they're just a regular old attack. Come on, "Dipthong"? It even sounds violent!

Depends on how it's used...like...

3 rules to a great evening with your spouse:

#1 - Bring flowers
#2 - Cook her favorite food
#3 - get crazy and have her dipthong in honey

I thought that was the current trend of women having their underwear stick out of the top of their pants.

Hmmm, asking for clarification and explaining that it is very difficult to percieve tone equates to actually accusing you. Seems I'm not the touchy one, I think my suspicions were right first time mate.

A (an?) hyperbole, on the other hand, is like being flicked behind the ear once a second for a week.
