The deludenoids who post on The Secret forum are starting to worry me. In addition to the woos, it appears that the The Secret has created a haven where all manner of reality challenged people can reinforce their mutual bizarre perceptions.

I find posts like this one chilling:

I was just wondering what the biggest thing the LOA has ever manifested for you? For me, it was the ending of WWII, Pat Robertson (we needed someone like him), and getting GWII into the exeuctive office. What's everybody's best story?
Mind boggling.:eye-poppi

I myself am trying to manifest two atomic bombs but with limited success so far. Should I try to limit my wishes to one or just try harder.
Love and light,

Everything is possible with the Law of Attraction! Perhaps my new book, "Manifesting Nuclear Weapons for Fun and Profit" (Wooful Press, Inc.) would be helpful. Only $59.95! Included is a DVD on how to attract explosive biological devices.

Peace Upon You and Your Household

Why does something tell me that this will lead to Manifestation Envy? I mean, one person claims to have manifested Pat Robertson, then someone else will claim to have manifested someone more famous, then people start to chime in with their claim of famous people that they have manifested. It's a bit like the reincarnation believers claiming famous historic figures as past lives.

I used LOA to manifest Randi. He proceded to slap some sense into me, made me sign up for JREF, and promptly de-manifested himself.

You can ask him. I'm sure he remembers it!

Hah!

"I'll see your Pamela Anderson, and raise you a Selma Hayek. Did I mention they were both nude and in a nymphomaniac mood?" Damn I'm good at LOA!

I'm going to manifest a "back" button on my mouse and get out of this nutty thread!

I tried manifesting the Way, the Truth, and the Light, but all I got was a jelly donut.

... mmm ... donut ...
