Rob Balsamo has popped up at Democratic Underground, calling out several posters here at JREF. It seemed rather sneaky of him to post somewhere that you guys weren't actually posting, so I thought I'd make sure the message got through.

Anyone wishing to debate our team of real professionals that actually put our name on this work.. step up to the plate. Keyboard commando behind your screen is just that. Sorry if the above doesnt come through with proper links as i dont have time to deal with the obvious spin.. but i will debate anyone face to face regarding this information as so many have spun as apparent by prior posts. Email us to set it up. Bring FBI/NTSB with you as you'll need it.

It is funny how Lyte, and JDX always come in here, or go to DU, complaining about "anonymous Keyboard commandos" when both of them spent a LONG TIME, just the same, hidden behind their user names as they spread their hatred.

Now that they finally have decided to go public with their "evidence" etc...now they are all high and mighty about people "showing themselves".

Funny, you would think people working on such ciritical, earth shattering, world changing evidence, wouldn't be bothered with debating us wee little debunkers, or grandstanding for us to "reveal" ourselves. If only they put this amount of energy into something positive.

I guess we are getting to them.

Rob has been going off the deep end for awhile.

His site is DEAD...there is NO traffic.

He and his CIT lackeys have been blown away every time they come here.

At LCF, they pretty much get ignored.

His been trying to goad people into a "real debate" for months. Those scare quotes are understatement. I'm fairly certain Rob's ideal of "real debate" is a fistfight, but the idea that a live unmoderated "debate" being a venue for scientific discussion is only slightly less absurd. All of his "demands" for debate are peppered with middle school playground bullying tactics. Every third word is a questioning of someone's manhood and/or the most demeaning personal insult he can think of (but he can't think very hard).

I always have and always will accept the challenge to a proper debate. Publish his work and I'll respond. Youtube, 10$ DVDs aren't the best platform for getting scientific information to scientific people. It is, however, the best platform for propaganda, notoriety, and $$.

He's so desperate for attention that he need something highly sensational to get his name back in lights and get himself some more of those DVD dollars that have been slipping away.

His near singular focus on a "real debate" lends creedance to the thought that the evidence, the "truth", is secondary to his desire to "Be somebody", to "beat the JREFers".

Like I said, if they were honest to goodness researchers, they wouldn't even have time, or the bother, to debate...

Not only does he have the facts right, but you can sense the underlying frustration of dealing with Rob who is a habitual liar. He is consumed with "talking points" style arguing where he -knows- what he is saying is wrong, but it's too difficult to debunk succinctly so he -knows- none of his audience (truthers) have the attention span to realize he's full of ****.

It's the quintessential sophistry. I feel your pain Will.
