Dylan Avery - Earth-Shattering News Coming Soon (again)

Awww man I already used this one today... <sigh> Oh well it fits:

Dang. If I had seen this thread before, I would have posted this here instead...

That pic reminds me of another great diabolical plan I hatched on night to get rid of Dylan.

Get a local congressman in an obscure district to attach a rider to the next pork barrel bill that's bound to pass....

Make it illegal to smirk!

Dylan would be off to the FEMA Death Camps in an hour. I've never seen the guy without that annoying self-satisfied smirk on his face.

Ohhh, you've never seen the Hardfire debate that he attended (but never showed up for) vs. Gravy? Throughout that entire debacle, he vacillated between the brain-dead look and the deer-in-the-headlights look. His usual annoying, self-satisfied smirk was noticably absent. ;)

I watched it, but on a small laptop screen, so couldn't really make out the faces too clearly. I guess I just projected the smirk on his face since that's all I've ever seen in his PR shots and other stills. Heck, he even writes with a smirk.

That little change was all that allowed me to know that Gray wasn't debating Bevis and a cardboard cutout.

On a serious note, something in that thread on LCF that stands out is that he's still wandering around collecting "evidence" on June 12, 2007, yet claims that LCFC is ready for distribution on September 7, 2007.

IVXX has told the mob that he's seen the interview, and that they're going to have to wait until LCFC hits the theatres to actually see it! So this newly gathreed material is going into Final Cut? They cannot be serious!

Post-production is one thing, but actually still gathering material for a schlocumentary 86 days before its theatrical release is just plain absurd. Anyone who's ever edited even ten minutes of film or video can tell you that the latest insert could change the entire ordering of the piece you're doing. To have to decide what to do with and where to place exciting new footage/material with could mean you start over entirely. Not that it's not possible... but I don't know of anyone who would have a final and oft-delayed release date announced and then go out looking for material. The efforts would be in polishing what you've already got and punching it up.

What are they doing, milking their new executive producer, AJ, for any lead to any piece of crap they can insert to make the new edition unique?

I think you're overestimating Avery's insight into production. He probably just keeps tacking the new stuff on the end. The film will be ready when it hits 2 hours running time.

About the only reason I could think to do it is that when you were editting it together you found that you needed an extra scene or shot or item in a section to make it work, at which time you'd go back and get it on pickups, but to still be getting primary footage 90 days out.....

It's amazing to think that this small group of individuals have managed to collect together 'solid' evidence that their own government killed 3000 of their fellow citizens in 2001 and then used these deaths as justification to invade and occupy two completely 'innocent' mid-east countries, and that they have made a film of this evidence laying it all out in easy to understand cgi and interviews...and yet they won't release the film until the time is right to maximise sales...ermmmm ummmm I mean 'viewers'.

I mean, what if the perps do a runner before then? Don't they have any sense?

oooops

I meant: Don't they have any sense of urgency?

Or maybe I was right the first time.

I like the word "schlocumentary". I think I'll use it when referring to LC:FC.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. From a $20 million budget, Charlie Sheen doing the narration, and 3,000 screens on opening night, Dylan is reduced to one screen on 9/10 somewhere near GZ and adding unsubstantiated crap to his schlocumentary to try and freshen it up for the adoring mass of 30 or so people on LCF.

Someone with Photoshop skills should put Dylan's face on Steve Irwin's body and caption it "The Schlock Hunter". That's all the guy has left. I almost pity him.

Cant wait...but I will...let me know when he ends up on Hardball, or Larry King, until them....blah blah blah...

TAM:)

Yes, I've always been concerned by the fact that with so much knowledge of the truth and the vast amount of crimes and murder committed on 9/11, Dylan et all seem to have no interest in going to local, state, federal authorities or the US Attorney, they merely seem to want to promote their movies, books, t-shirts, etc.

Doesn't truth demand justice? Or, does truth enable profit?
