Like many people here have observed before, I wish there was a hell so that good Christians like Sylvia would be the first in!
s I understand it, they were previously located in a building which was owned by a woman named Mary Simonds.Am I not following something here? What has this all got to do with someone moving from one office to another one?

Simonds was very instrumental in the early days of Novus, and in fact transcribed much of the "Journey of the Soul" study series from tapes of "trance readings" of "Francine" and "Raheim."
I am sketchy on the details, but have been told that there was a falling out between Browne and Simonds, mostly over the building (I have been told by multiple people - but do not know for a fact - that Browne tried to take control of the building, which lead to the falling-out).
This resulted in Simonds, who was evidently well-thought-of by the NS community, to leave the fold. She did so after issuing a letter blaming nobody, and not explaining any of her reasons for leaving a church which she had been so instrumental in founding.
I have tried to contact Ms. Simonds, but have received no response. I have been told by others that she, along with others in her family, just wish to put their NS experience behind them.
Mary sent an email to all the ministers when she resigned and said this:
Dear Fellow Ministers,
I respectfully resign. Novus appears to be going in a different direction I choose not to follow.
I wish to thank those of you who supported me in my 17 years of service to the ministry.
Thank you,
Mary L. Simonds
Obviously we can all see now the direction Novus was going and that's why so many ministers have jumped ship.
Mary is the sweetest, kindest person you could ever know. What Sylvia did to her was dispicable, inexcusable and unforgivable. And I hope someone can convince Mary to validate her experience with SB so RSL can put all the sordid details on SSB. What has been revealed in this thread is nothing compared to the full story.
She's good at coercing funds out of her ministers "for the good of the mission" and "because it's what Mother God would expect you to do" - Mary wasn't the first one she did it to and I'm sure she won't be the last - just ask Tina - another of her former ministers.

OMG, I'm so glad you wrote that! I've been waiting for a long time to get this info out, that Sylvia was allegedly all these people.
It's true, Francine indeed has said these things in various trances--LAUGHABLE!
And how the hell could you steal retirement funds from Mary friggin' Magdalene?
By the way, what did she do as Lucifer's soulmate? I don't think I ever caught that one.
Interestingly, I understood--as it was passed around the office--that Tina and Linda (not the business mgr) embezzled funds from the lecture series and other events, which led to their resignation without prosecution, because, as it was told to me, their prosecution would result in their talking about the inner-workings of the church.
I'm not angrybeliever, but since he/she hasn't responded yet, absolutely that's what happened. $300,000 from what I heard -with promises made that were never kept.Exactly angrybeliever. And wasn't it SB who used Tina to get a large sum of money from her insurance settlement?
All suggestions for expansion, or trainings, etc were shot down by the controlling prelate, Sheila Hallmeyer. Prelate Hallmeyer for years would tell any newcomer who had similiar ideas about bringing programs into the community "you don't understand, it really is too difficult to organize, and takes a lot of time to research".
Also is Sylvia Browne in the San Jose area? I thought she was in Southern California. I'm just an hour South from her then. Seriously I wouldn't think that scientific minded San Jose would be a fitting place for her. So. CA would be more likely. Maybe I'm being gullible.
