[Merged]architects and engineers for 9/11 truth = SCAM!

The web site and the forum have become bright lights for the bugs of truthyness of all things 9/11 truth. It must of been a dry year.

What is this need to join a movement for Dick Gage? Has the truth movement elite started selling franchises. Canned PowerPoint presentation starters, how to book talks for money. What is going on, did the truth elite read the book on Roy Kroc? This new web site is like a clone of all the rest in the truth movement. If you have the time to see Gage's version of 9/11, you will learn, you have seen it before. Mr Gage does not ever get any architect "stink" on it.

Because there are too many competing theories and competing personalities for more than a handful of Twoofers to exist under one roof at one time. Twoofers have wildly different ideas about what caused 9-11, and even those who do agree can't put their egos aside for the good of the cause. As the saying goes, the Twoof movement has a lot of chiefs and relatively few indians.

It's all about market share now. 9-11 Truth is just another fringe group, and it's being marketed to just like every other fringe group. Every form of woo that exists -- alien abductions, tax-evasion schemes, NESARA, crystals, you name it -- has a group of people that makes a living by enabling it with books, DVDs, and websites. 9-11 conspiracy theory is just a new flavor of that pie.

There are dozens of 9-11 Truth groups for the same reason your town has dozens of hamburger stands. It's not about the highminded ideal of making sure everyone has a hamburger; it's about what the market will bear, made up of people competing with each other to carve out their own piece of the action.

The 9-11 conspiracy phenomenon makes a lot more sense when you view it for what it is -- a business venture, not a political movement.

We regret that we have had to take these measures which are due to the abuse of the forum by those who do not respect productive technical analysis and have been disruptive to the discussions. I also regret that I have been completely slammed preparing for and giving the 2 talks in Canada this week such that I was unable to participate in some of the more productive discussions that have taken place here.

We will provide a post to guide everyone in the re-registering process. Again - sorry for pulling the carpet right at the beginning, but we have lost patience with impostors, disruptors, etc. I guess we had to learn the hard way.

For what it's worth, in the RIBA we'd send the heavies round for people who used our logo in the way that Mr. Gage has purloined the AIA one. We only permit its use on drawings, site singboards, and (if you're really lucky) correspondence.

I'm tempted to make a prfessional approach to them myself....

The deviousness of it is awesome....

Create a fake branch of the 'truth' movement supposedly made up of Architects and Engineers, then start a forum.

Get all the eager young 'truthers' to sign up and then piss them off by allowing skeptics to join with their inconvenient facts.

Then, and this is the genius part, make a bold announcement that in order to avoid all the skeptics and their inconvenient facts, you're going to make the forum subscription only. At which point all the eager young 'truthers' will be offering up their names, addresses, telephone numbers and any other bits of personal information we can wring out of them, in order to belong to the exclusive 'truther' club.

Oh Big Owl is gonna have an extra special bonus for the devious NWO operative responsible for this one.

Lacking that, it just became another 9/11 debate site with nothing particularly new to offer.

Grown up professionals act just like Kids at LCF. Once again the "truth" has to hide from the general public. What will Pdoh do to post there? He thinks they will be taking him along on the professional trip to "truth" and fraud.

What I was getting at was this: If Mr. Gage's credentialed membership had opened the forum with a scholarly paper or two re. 9/11, the discussion might have given the two sides of the issue something new to debate.

As it turned out, in just two days time, it became just another 9/11 debate site.

Seems Mr. Gage just didn't have his act together. I think I could have predicted this result.

I thought the "debate" was over and they are now just trying to spread the word... How are you going to do that if you stop people from using your forum unless they already agree with you? :confused:

I think it was possible. But after I was tricked thinking I would see something new when he first started with his video posting. I watched a wasted hour or two of the same old Dr Jones junk, as if it was a package for a new business fraud.

Just the same old junk. With nothing new, the AEF should be the slowest "truth" forum on the planet. I expect most professionals to stand up and expose Gage as an idiot with a prepackaged script of lies.
