Your right, but don't you think other people beside me will benefit from any important info you might have. So bring in the info for their sakes and not mine. Don't make them miss out because of your focus on not educating me.

Ah, but Doc, they have things to learn from you, too. And you have been denying them this education for quite a while now.

Unfortunately for you, I already did provide this "education," for everyone who has read this thread. I even provided it for you. I did give you the answers to my 3 questions. Everyone here already knows the answers. Everyone but you.

The answers are in the thread. Can you find them? Will you find them?

I'm betting not. Not ever.

Another empty post. Give us some meat like post #2.

So you find unknown and unusual information about the man called "The Father of our Country" and the man who is most responsible for us winning the Revolutionary War and gaining our freedoms boring. Maybe I should talk about same sex marriage and condoms in schools to wake you up.

Someone please introduce Doc to T'ai Chi, so they can start their own dodge-ball team, yes?

No thanks, DOC. I guess I know what your stance on those two topics is. But feel free to add them to the discussion anyway. I am sure you will find a way to connect them with the topic of this thread, and with Thomas Jefferson, with Leo Pfeffer and with Donald Duck.

Hey, and it seems you forgot to reply to some previous posts in this thread.

No, the reason he's fallen asleep is because he's grown tired of you keeping on repeating your lies, and how you falsely claim we attack the messenger whenever we point out where you're wrong. We attack the "message" because the "message" is a lie. In fact, it's a never-ending stream of lies. Often accompagnied by insulting phrases, such as "you probably don't realise this" right before you tell another lie.

But if you can only start a path of honesty, then -that- might wake us up. And here is the first step on that path, by researching and answering these questions:
"It can hardly be argued that either students or teachers shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate."

1. In what case were these words uttered?
2. In what year were these words uttered?
3. In what year was the ACLJ founded?

And I repeat these words:

It's about teaching you to learn about source criticism. After all, you must have "learned" somewhere that the quote in question was (falsely) attributed to the ACLJ president. Where did you "learn" about this? From Kennedy's webpage? Barton's? And wherever you found it, why would this source "teach" you this outright lie?

So, are you going to give us a message worth reading? Or are you going to keep on lying? It's your choice, but remember, everyone who's read this thread and responded agree that all your lies have done nothing but convince them of the immoral hypocricy of fundamentalism that your "message" represents.

The path of being honest, DOC. It's not that hard to thread, once you get over yourself.

Bring the info in. Why should I spend the time to look it up if you all already have the info. That simply doesn't make any sense to me. Bring it in, educate us.

That has already been done. It's here. It's in this thread.

Why do you keep asking us to do what we have already done?

Do you want me to give you the numbers of the posts containing the information? If I do, will you go look at them, and then answer the questions asked of you?

Once again this just proves my point -- your more interested in (the messenger) -- than in sharing the information (the message). I hate to inform all of you this, but this forum is not about DOC, its about our country.

We are interested in making sure all messengers have a correct and factual message. What good is any message if the messenger screws it up?

So, do you want the post numbers?

Are you at all interested in making sure you have correct information?

DOC- everyone here is just trying to get you to examine the sources of your information. It really is good for your mind to examine your own assumptions and think critically about what you brought to the table.

and before you say it- yes, the people disagreeing with you do it too. its at the heart of this forum and skepticism.

If anyone would like to know a little about the Mormon concept of God go to the "what Mormons believe" forum. My posts are post 39 and post 48. While I am "not" an expert on the Mormon religion I probably know more than 99 percent of the non-Mormon population about their concept of God. As you will see their concept of God is very different from that of mainline Christianity.

When did Gen. La Fayette get called the "Father of Our Country"?
Or Comte Rochambeau?
Or Gen. von Steuben?

Yes, I'm sure you know more about Mormonism than, say, the other board members who were born and raised in that religion.

I'm sure we would all benefit from your wisdom on the subject, as you've shown such wisdom and knowledge in this thread.

(I admit it, it was tough typing that with a straight face...)

There is a book called "The 100 Greatest Generals of all time". Guess who was #1 and it wasn't La Fayette or von Steuben. It was the guy on your 1 dollar bill. And the French didn't even enter the war until they saw the Americans win at Saratoga. It was Washington who kept up the men's spirits as 2000 out of 12000 died from disease and starvation at Valley Forge.

With everything going on its amazing that Washington could find the time to write 50 letters asking for chaplains. I'm glad Leo Pfeffer, Hugo Black, and the ACLU weren't around hassling him about it.

Really finding some creative ways to avoid answering questions, aren't you?

Let's make a deal. I'll keep putting out informative posts like post 815 if you promise to keep putting out empty non-informative posts like this. Deal.

This will be the last time I respond to any of your many empty posts that contain no new information. But in a way I'm glad you're doing it because any lurkers are probably tuning you out big time.

No deal. Your information is too often wrong to be trustworthy.

Worse, you won't accept responsibility for your misinformation.

Worst, you refuse to even try. Instead, you bring up other topics, thinking we will be too stupid to notice you changed the subject.

Sadly for you, we lost our woo-virginity long before you showed up.

So. Show us your information is reliable. Answer the questions reagarding Jay Sekulow and the quote on not leaving one's rights at the schoolhouse gate, and we'll see if we care to then hear anything else you want to impart.

Doc I have given far more information in this thread that you have, and you have yet to respond to any counterpoints to your worldview that show your position to be inaccurate or wrong.

But if by making a deal you mean that you'll continue to ignore countering evidence and then when the rest of us chide you for that complaining that we are attacking you, it seems you made that decision on page #1 of this thread.

It's amazing what can happen when you have the PR firm of US Public Education helping you out, huh? The Colonists were doing so well that they'd sent an ambassador to King George to discuss peace terms. Madison and crew were beside themselves trying to get Washington replaced with Gen. Gates. Why Gates you ask? Because HE'S the General responsible for the victories at Saratoga, not Washington. Washington was still sniveling around the Philadelphia until La Fayette and d'Estaing showed up.

It was said that at the battle of Yorktown, 1 in 4 soldiers were American, the other three were French. (ref "American Aurora") A larger disparity was found on the water where the ratio was closer to 1 in 6.

Not that any of this matters, you'll dodge to the right to avoid having your precious fantasies shattered with the facts.
