And isn't that a pointless proposition, anyway? At some point, God must have been happy with Judaism and, later, what Jesus was doing, before "things went wrong and another change was needed -- Islam!" Otherwise he'd have started with Islam to begin with, right?

Why let people exist for thousands of years without Islam? Heck, for thousands of years without Jesus or even Judaism, for that matter. The vast majority of people never even heard of Judaism for most of human history. God "kept it small" for some strange reason.
