What is all this with the "man" thing? I find it highly insulting that you are implying that only men are important. This leads me to the biggest failing, yes failing, in Islam. The Quran as it is written, including whatever version you keep referring to, is completely misogynistic. Why on this big blue planet would I ever subscribe to such an awful religion? I'm reading a book about different post-death destinations, and after mentioning the garden and the virgins (described as soul-less pleasure vessels rather than people) it says, "Moslem women, believed to have no souls, simply die."

Is that real Muslim belief? This book was the first I ever heard of this "women have no souls" thing and I went
