Perhaps I am just being curmudgeonly this morning, but unless WR saw an explosive device, there is little he can contribute to the events of that day aside from anecdotal evidence of what he experienced. His actions that day are not relevant to a discussion of the facts. His actions since that day are not relevant to a discussion of the facts.
It's certainly tempting to dismiss the claims just as that- even if he's correct about hearing the explosions, it's not unusual. Unfortunately, he's sort of a poster-child for the conspiracy movement, so I don't think it's quite sufficient to just say that he's uninvolved in the debate... although it is accurate, I don't think it satisfies anyone.
Of course, if he chooses to dodge the debate altogether, there's not much that can be done in regards to the relevance or accuracy of his claims.
