When the government outlaws toilet paper, only outlaws will have toilet paper.
ImaginalDisc: There was a time when the White House was open to comments and questions from the American public. Jefferson's administration was particularly noteworthy for letting anyone come in and see the President. I imagine that if some wealthy lobbyist had approached Rove, they would have received a different response.
Yes, well, I doubt that I could walk up to Crow or David at a dinner uninvited without someone intervening. And I'm sure you're correct, a wealthy lobbyist might well have a better chance at being welcomed by Mr. Rove. I sincerely doubt Crow and David thought they were welcome which is why they decided that a lecture was their best plan. Now, they pretend to be surprised that he responded negatively. How, exactly, did they expect him to respond to their premeditated confrontation????
Sheryl Crow stained with poop is still pretty hot.
Sorry Sheryl, you're not wiping properly using 3 squares for "pesky occasions". Yeeeech!![]()
There's a quote button on the bottom of every post. Third from the left.
I would expect an alleged "political genius" to rebuff people in a polite manner, not like a petulant child.
Since we don't really know what his exact response was other than Crow and David's, I'm sure unbiased, accounts, "petulant child" is speculation. Rove said he felt insulted. So, in his mind, Crow and David approached him, uninvited, and began lecturing him. Sorry, that's rude.
Do you believe David's quote here: http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8OLS7N83&show_article=1
"I honestly thought that I was going to change his mind, like, right there and then," Laurie David said.
A political genius shouldn't allow anyone to feel insulted, least of all himself.
