In case folks haven't seen it yet, I'll use a spoiler.

When the atheist in the film gives his opinion of what a "true" Christian would do, I can almost hear moderate Christians crying out that those beliefs don't represent them. Fine, but then you really aren't sincere in your beliefs. Really, if you actually believed other people were going to suffer endless torture in a fiery Hell, you would not respect their differing views if they were an obstacle. I think the video was more than fair.

I've never understood how you can pick and choose from a religious belief system. Whether it's the idea presented in that video, or creation, or transubstantiation, or Noah's ark. Someone may say the story of Adam an Eve is an allegory, but at what point do you draw the line? Moses? Noah? Jesus? And if Adam and Eve is an allegory, what is the real origin of Original Sin?
 
Kilgore Trout's spoiler echoes my own thoughts. I started on my current path for those reasons. I couldn't work out where the lines were drawn.
