New World Order (NWO)

Ref, who is Finnish IIRC, can probably relate about the Finnish armed forces emblem during WW2, which looked like an inverted 3D swastika (it has a name, which escapes me). Nothing to do with National Socialism as far as I know, but it's use didn't outlive WW2.

Nothing to do with National Socialism indeed.

Swastika is an old symbol of luck. The Finnish swastika has two main differences to the Nazi swastika. The Finnish one is blue, Nazi black. The Finnish Swastika is like kneeling facing right, The Nazi swastika stands on it's one "leg".

The Finnish Air Force started using the symbol in 1918. They were requested not to use it anymore after 1945, because of the likelihood to the Nazi symbol. But some Air Force honorary medals still use the Finnish symbol, as well as an organization called Lotta-Svärd, which is a Finnish voluntary auxiliary organisation for women.

The archeologists have tracked the usage of the symbol swastika in Finland back in history over thousand years. It has nothing to do with Nazis. But the Finns still sometimes have to explain its usage. And here is my explanation :)
